  1. Same, I thought those couple of decent turns at LT were the start of something. Doesn't sound like he's pushing Jonah or anyone else, it's disappointing.
  2. Reagan, for all his faults, was certainly not a Russian mole. He may have been a fucking idiot, but he wasn't a fucking idiot traitor. Credit where it's due.
  3. Not to mention from inaccurate noodle-armed backup QBs so it's not like it's helping their timing etc
  4. Get it together Flounder! Jonah may get blown up half the time but at least he usually remembers the snap count.
  5. Generally agree minus the sympathy. They're paid what the market dictates like anyone else, which is I think $5-10 million for a 2nd round pick? That's generational wealth if they don't blow it on private jets and gold-plated shark tanks, for 4 years of work. I wouldn't call that a raw deal by any stretch.
  6. Oh, bullshit. The team didn't want to air his dirty laundry but Lap kept repeating "100% wife driven" for a reason. The WR depth chart didn't concern his wife enough to make him force a trade. Honestly if you think about it for a minute it's pretty obvious as to how his wife would've been both pissed off enough to do that and had the leverage to make him do it. Like the man kept telling us, it had nothing to do with football.
  7. I don't think that's much of an incentive considering he will be getting a raise that'll make $4.5m look like peanuts. I'm sure the team would be just fine with paying the bonus and keeping him on his rookie salary.
  8. Maybe it was watching our boy get sacked eleventyhundred times over the past couple of years but I guess I must be desensitized at this point. Of course I want him to stay healthy but I also recognize that it's completely out of my hands. It's up to the organization and plain dumb luck.
  9. Consider what the OL looked like at the start of last season. It was definitely the 2nd thing.
  10. Wonder if Flounder is taking any snaps at RT or if the competition is over before it started
  11. And if they don't, play them more. Think letting the opener be their first live game action is a bad idea.
  12. Why practice at all? It's the NFL, guys are going to get hurt. Of course you take reasonable precautions but it's going to happen regardless. Ultimately the goal is winning championships, not avoiding injuries.
  13. Our OL looked like they'd just met. You can't keep these guys in bubble wrap until opening kickoff and expect them to hit the ground running. They can get hurt stepping out of a shower, it's just the wrong mentality entirely for a full-contact sport.
  14. Probably so they can never mention them again until next year. "What do you mean I don't talk about the Browns? They were my SB pick!" It's tough when the biggest move they've made in a decade was trading the entire farm for a serial rapist. Unless they're going for 0-17 or the stadium (or river) is on fire no one gives a shit about Cleveland.
  15. The Browns are strong favorites to win the division every off-season. Then football games happen and by October everyone in Cleveland is talking about the draft.
  16. So they waive a guy based on allegations after they went all-in on the sex offender QB. Browns are completely rudderless. They're a couple of tequila shots and Van Halen on the radio away from sending it right over the cliff. Get your popcorn ready, I'm getting a strong feeling they're going to implode as soon as they get 2-3 games under 500. That locker room is gonna be a shit show. Imagine being a Browns fan with your one life. Nobody deserves that.
  17. Glad to see the Browns are once again making moves to retain their title of Offseason World Champions. Gotta pull out all the stops when you're planning to be irrelevant by October. I say let them have their moment.
