  1. On PFF Big Board he is prospect #64 and the 3rd TE. 6' 6" 253 lbs. He must have been injured for part of this year as it shows only 10 catches but 28 catches in 2022. Over 13 yards per catch in both 2022 and 2023. Edit - use this for the 2025 draft LOL
  2. Patrick Paul is a LT though. Per PFF's Big Board the following Tackles (from thier top 145 prospect list) have played RT: Org St - Fuaga Ala - Latham Geo - Mims Okl - Guyton BYU - Suamataia (also played LT) Pitt - Gonclaves (alos played LT) ND - Fisher Utes - Laumea Ind - Adams
  3. I would agree a WR in Rd 1 would be a huge mistake. Newton or a RT please and thanks
  4. I think the larger question for the OL is the coaching and the system - when Browning went more under center we could effectively run the ball and then better pass protect. Stiil, even if we signed him to a reasonable deal i would drfat OL high (as well as DL) - we just need to up our depth and quality at both positions.
  5. I stand corrected, I myself have mentioned it enough times that even the average guys are getting above average pay. Someone will likley pay him and we can get a 3rd round comp pick (before offsets). Hofefully we can get one of the two good RT propsects in round 1.
  6. One the Bengal fan sites had some commnets from Lou A on Assaai and he just said some stuff like 'the opportunities were not there this year' type stuff and they wanted Murphy to get more snaps. Probably did not help that we were never protecting big leads or even moderate leads.
  7. I think the Cowboys DC Dan Quinn is seen as the 'lead' DC ready for a HC job (2nd gig for him) and the Lions Ben Johnson is the 'lead' OC for a HC job.
  8. Jonah may be looking for that type of deal but no team will give it. I would let him look at the market and he could end up back here on a short term reasonable deal.
  9. Keep in mind the attributes needed to be a good HC are not the same as being a coordinator.
  10. Another issue was that TC was far too soft and few starters played in the preseason, so at the start of the regular season we seemed far behind other teams. Then there is that whole QB behind center issue - it is unfathomable if Taylor and Callahan cannot see that the OL has more success if there are more plays with the QB behind center, we run more and more play action.
  11. For the Huskies, thier LT Fautanu has been very impressive (some see him as a guard in the NFL) and thier Edge Rusher Bralen Trice reminds me of Hendrickson.
  12. Wingo was pretty dominate (along with the other LSU DL Mason Smith I believe) to close out their bowl win. Brugler has spoken highly of Jackson, said he should be 'high' on a lot of team's lists becuse he has size (325 I think) plus very quick and athletic. Kind of sounds like Reader.... Question - if at our pick we have a choice between say Fuaga/Laptham at RT or Newton at DT (disruptive 3T), who votes for whom?
  13. Not sure why slags did not rush on the 4th down, it has worked every time
