my cat had to be put to sleep last night. i havent felt this bad since my dog died a few years ago. i know he is better off now at least. he was 18 years old and had a cancerous tumor in his stomach and his kidneys were starting to fail. my cat spent a lot of time in my room and was always wanting attention so he was around a lot. him not being around right now is a very sad thing. ive thought about it a couple of times and it makes me sad. when i get pics on my computer ill post them on here. the two pets i grew up with were probably the best pets anyone could ever have.
sry man, as you know my police dog passed on 11-07-08. I still think of him every day as he was with me everyday and we worked together. I too know he is in a better place but that doesnt ease the pain. I had a dream last night and he was in a large part of it. I know it was him communicating to me that he is well. Pain here is still real though. I hope time eases your pain and you remember all the good times.

Sorry to hear that. Anyone who has the love of a pet knows how hard it can be.

Losing a pet is one of the hardest things to go through. Its been a while sense I had to do it, but in 97 I had to put my dog Talley (beagle) down. She was riddled with cancer and was lived with it for a while. When I took her out and blood came from her back side I knew it was time. Died in my arms at the vet, and now I'm tearing up almost 12 years later. My pug is 7 now and I dread the day, but they are worth it!
