happyrid
Just saw McShay's mock draft and was surprised to see he had Aaron Maybin going 5th overall (had the Bengals taking Monroe at 6). I've seen him play a few times and even though he's pretty good, I never really thought of him as a bigtime prospect. Thoughts? Also, here is Scouts, Inc. happyrid
I'd also add that he had Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy going 8th overall. Oklahoma DTs have had a pretty good record in the NFL and I wouldn't be too disappointed if we took him (his weight is way off on their list). akiliMVP
McShay is a tard, plain and simple. I would say there is about a 5% chance Maybin declares. He's only a redshirt sophomore and Penn State never loses players early to the NFL. Plus he has only played 1 season and is basically only a pass rush specialist right now. He doesn't have the size and strength to be an NFL end, and is not worth a top 15 pick as a 3-4 OLB. As far as ends go I like Orakpo, Hardy, Brown and Johnson more than Maybin. McCoy is a beast no doubt but he's only a redshirt sophomore and I'm fairly certain he has already said he is going to return for his junior season. Bengals1181
I think someone posted a mock from Mayock with us taking Maybin in the top 5 too. Definately BS, and I know with McShay he's been known in the past to publicize (aka overhype) guys he has some sort of connection to.
