Jason
Not to be taken too seriously. Trade 6 for a mid 1 and mid 2. Tag and trade TJ for a mid 1. 1a. James Laurinaitis - starting MLB for the next 10 years. 1b. Beanie Wells - gives us the stud RB we haven't had since a young Corey Dillon 2a. Mike Mickens - Nickel CB and depth considering JoJo's injury history. 2b. (from trade down) Connor Barwin - Add to our pass rush, and put on the kick block teams. 3. Marcus Freeman - SAM LB with a lot of athleticism and room to improve under FitzGerald. 4a. Alex Boone - Starting RT. 4b. (comp) Trevor Canfield - Move Bobbie to center and Canfield to RG. 5. Kevin Huber - Bye bye Larson, hello best punter in the NCAA! 6. Terill Byrd - Adds depth at DT 7a. Brandon Underwood - Depth and competition at safety, can also play corner and teams. 7b. (comp) Steve Rehring - a big body that can add deptha at guard or tackle. CFA - Todd Boeckman - big, strong, good deep ball, groomed to be eventual #2 QB. Bengals1181
speaks to the talent coming out of Ohio. I don't want all of those guys, but that in itself wouldn't be a horrible draft. Here's something I'd like, not completely homeristic, but homer heavy: Trade Chad for a mid 1 (resign or tag tj of course) Rd. 1: Michael Oher Rd. 1: James Laurinaitis Rd. 2: Connor Barwin (a slight reach here, and I'd make him a SLB rather than a DE) Rd. 3: Deangelo Smith (CB depth and instant punt returner) Rd. 3: Jeremiah Johnson (great complement to Benson) Rd. 4: Trevor Canfield (Bobbies future replacement at RG) Rd. 5: Dominic Goodman (he probably will go in the 4th, but he'd be a great replacement for TJ) Rd. 6: Kevin Huber (bye Larson) Rd. 7: Nader Abdallah (a DT that may just finally be coming into his own, would be a PS project if nothing else)
