BengalsOwn
Alright, so for a few months my wireless network was working fine. Then it decided to quit. It's happened before, but I just reset it, and setup my SSID and network key, and be on my way. Now, it's just not working anymore. I have RoadRunner, so automatic DHCP should be fine. Both my Xbox and my laptop will no longer see the network. WPA security. It's a Linksys WRT54GS v7.2 router. Probably the third router I've had in the last 4 years. They're all pieces of shit that stop working randomly and no matter what I do I can't fix it. Please help me.
BengalsOwn
2 hours later, i changed the broadcast channel of the router and it's all good. For now... Why would it randomly stop working on one channel? Piece of shit...
Vol_Bengal
The only thing I can think of that a channel that has worked fine just stops working would be interference from antenna or some other radio signal. Especially when changing the channel fixes the issue - sounds like something is transmitting on that frequency that wasn't previously. I can honestly say I've never had that issue...
