Hooky
Is anybody watching this game? Ryan dropped back the usual 7-8 yards to pass, threw it, ball got batted down at the line of scrimmage, rolled around on the ground, Pats picked it up and ran into the end zone and the call on the field was a TD. That's a really strong argument for ref favoritism. The Falcons threw a challenge flag and got it reversed, but what if they didn't have any? The Falcons ended up scoring a TD on that drive, but what if? You can't just look at that and say "Well, that's why they have the challenges.". No. The league can't overlook this call. That was embarrasssing. And the Pats fans booed when it was over-turned. Unless they were booing the refs for being idiots, which I doubt.

[/quote] On Rophysburger's one yard sneak for a touchdown Laph was going crazy because the right side of their O-line started early (because of the crown noise!!!) and it wasn't called. One of the Bengal receivers had a Cheatler run up his back before the ball was even close and it, too, was not called. If that was Ed Houchuli's crew, we would still be there. But, what the heck? We beat not only the Squeelers but the refs. I guess that's what you have to do when you play the Squeels and the Paddy Rats. The Cowboinkers used to be that way, too.
