Lewdog
Thanks..As for Doug Martin I think he's the second best rb in the draft, behind Richardson and I favor the smaller Ray Rice type of backs as they are harder to tackle and harder to hit.
I disagree with your assessment of Pead. I don't think his size will keep him from being an every down back in the NFL. Ray Rice was only 195 lbs at the NFL combine. The PatternMaster
I disagree with your assessment of Pead. I don't think his size will keep him from being an every down back in the NFL. Ray Rice was only 195 lbs at the NFL combine.
Actually Rice was 199 lbs and a couple of inches shorter, so his body type is different. Rice is more compact, while Pead is leaner and taller. Pead runs more upright than Rice which will subject him to harder hits, which means more injuries. Also I know you can't actually see this now, but look at the lower body of both guys, Pead has relatively skinny legs compared to most NFL rb's while Rice has thick stumpy legs which makes it harder for defenders to wrap him up and bring him down. To me Pead compares to LT, while Doug Martin compares to Ray Rice.
SocalBengalEd
Bobby Wagner impressed me the second time I watched the senior bowl. He's solid at 6' 240 lbs. After Couples he was the most impressive defensive player on the field. Looks like a 2nd rounder now.
SocalBengalEd
Dennard struggled again looks like a 3 day pick. While Pead and Martin have stood out.
Yep I didn't like Dennard back in January, really don't like him now.
