Beaker Posted July 2, 2005 Report Share Posted July 2, 2005 Check out this story. I personally believe souls make more than one trip, but you can decide for yourself. Guest BengalBacker Posted July 2, 2005 Report Share Posted July 2, 2005 Beaker. Looks like you just copied the text of a link. The ... is where it's been shortened. You need to right click on your original link, go to properties, and copy the URL from there. Either that, or go to your link and copy the URL from the address bar. Hope that made sense. akiliMVP Posted July 2, 2005 Report Share Posted July 2, 2005 If reincarnation were really true, I would think we would hear a lot more stories like this. Creepy story though..... Makes me think of the movie Godsend Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest steggyD Posted July 3, 2005 Report Share Posted July 3, 2005 There would not be more stories. Memories and emotions are earthly. The soul goes through many journies before reaching its final destiny. It may spend much time in the spiritual realms before coming back to Earth to inhabit another body. The soul should not carry the memories of its former life, because they are of the flesh, not of the spirit. The spirit takes what it needs for its journey here through the life on Earth. Sometimes, when a person dies quickly, usually of some sort of accident, they tend to hang on to their earthly life, looking to finish something. This is when what we call ghosts tend to show up on Earth. Maybe this was a soul that spent time as a "ghost" and quickly came back to Earth as another person. Also, if you read, they say that these previous life's memories come at an early age. You know, before we drown ourselves in a new life. At this early age, how many adults are going to openly listen to you? Great, now you all think I'm nuts. D'oh, edited for spelling... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's my only problem with what you said. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[post="111308"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
But.... those brains and the rest of your body is powered by an energy source, a bit of electricity. Energy never dies, it moves on to somewhere else. That energy is basically the essence of what makes us who we are, the neurons and such interacting with each other. Maybe one of these science people can help with this explanation. So, if energy never dies, it goes somewhere, doesn't it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Scales Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 So what are the thoughts? Do you just keep comming back until you figure it out, or do you only get second chances when you die prematurly, before you've had a chance to look for truth. Maybe there is a waiting line depending on how terrible you were? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Probably knowledge of which is only obtainable through hallucinogenic drugs...lol. Steggy is referring to the law of conservation of energy. It says that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it merely changes form. I think he was tying it into conciousness...that the energy that is your conciousness has to go somewhere after it leaves the body. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
