EnglishBengal Mock Draft version 1.0

Recommended Posts

1. CB Jason Verrett, TCU

Best cover corner in draft, makes up for small size with speed, smarts and surprising physicality (also I think Dennard and Gilbert will be gone by 24)

2. DE Scott Crichton, Oregon State

Consistent high-motor pass rusher in the mould of JJ Watt (but without the height), meet MJ93's replacement

3. LB Christian Jones, Florida State

Athletic 4-3 linebacker, has played and produced at all 3 spots, had slightly down year (hence I dropped him by 1 round) but has loads of untapped potential for Guenther to work with

4. C Weston Richburg, Colorado State

Durable, very strong, equally good pass and run blocker, can play in a man or zone blocking scheme, upgrade over Cook and Robinson

5. RB/KR/PR Antonio Andrews, Western Kentucky

Imagine Giovani Bernard with the same versatility but bigger (6-0 220 lbs), gets the job done running, receiving, blocking and on kick/punt returns, in 2012 gained the second most all-purpose yards in FBS history, potential upgrade to BJGE or at least a valuable backup

6. WR/KR Josh Huff, Oregon

We need an upgrade in the return game

7. QB Connor Shaw, South Carolina

Best QB in draft that no one is talking about, plays like a young Brett Favre
