January 26, 20251 yr comment_1785258 Does anybody else make their own? I was living in the south for a couple years, so I had tostart making my own. Making a batch now. Even though I'm back in town, I can make 3 times as much as a tube of Gliers for the same price. Would be interested in suggestions. Report
January 26, 20251 yr Author comment_1785259 I pretty much use this. I use kroger sausage patties and add paprika, garlic, a little cajun seasoning. https://www.food.com/recipe/goetta-17357 Report
January 27, 20251 yr comment_1785461 I just got some steel-cut oats and I need to find the energy (and a free weekend) to make a big batch. Thanks for the recipe. Report

Thanks for the recipe. You're welcome. That recipe takes about 3 hours, but you don't have to stir it top frequently. It's trial and error. The big thing is getting the right oats ratio. Too much oats and it could be bland, but the good thing is that you can doctor it with spices when you fry it up. Report
