I am going to start the free-agent threads. We are about 4 weeks away. Hopefully, this helps with convos. I'll roll through every position.

I am still cleaning up things like updating the Bengals guys at DE-CB and adding the Defensive coaching connections.

My thoughts on the roster

-Burrow and Browning back as 1 and 2.

-Browning is a year closer to his RFA year when he'd likely want to leave if allowed to start somewhere.

-Woodside is still out there and that's likely to be the type they want to add at least as a 3rd arm.

-The 4th arm is probably an undrafted QB.

-Rocky Lombardi was in camp last year and is now a Michigan Panther of the UFL. EJ Perry is likely to start there but worth keeping an eye on there.

-If the Titans didn't get the first pick I think there might have been some chance at, be it very small, that we trade Browning to Callahan and then would be in the market for another backup. I think that's unlikely now.

I've seen Browning suggested as a trade candidate for several teams. One had the Giants drafting a QB but trading their early 4th rounder for Browning.

Personally, I think he's worth more than a 4th. IMO he could be a starting QB for some teams and that's obviously worth at least a day 2 pick, especially with his low cost.

Starting to roll through positions after the Beast came out.

At QB I see us adding another veteran but a camp arm for the rookies will be necessary.

Guys I like

Kurtis Rourke-Indiana (U) Lots of Starts at OU and Indiana
Cam Miller-ND State (U) Mobile, lots of starts, coaches son, captain, 81 tds to 19 ints
Brady Cook-Missouri (U) Mobile, 39 starts, 4.59 40, 3 time Captain
Payton Thorne-Auburn (U) Mobile (4.7), 48 starts, 3 time captain, Coaches son/grandson

We'll need a QB3 to stash on the practice squad for a break glass in case of emergency situation. AJ McCarron would be fine for that role. For the camp arm, it can be an undrafted rookie or a Logan Woodside type. Doesn't really matter as long as they can run the rudiments of the offense for the benefit of other players.
