  1. im not sure id draft any of those positions in the first 2 rounds honestly. id go DB and WR boyd and higgins deals are up, boyd should be cheap he got a #2 WR deal, he may be cheaper to keep than he currently costs, but Tee i cant imagine we keep. Cheeto's deal is up and he will be 29, so maybe a 1-2 year deal, hilton has one year left, and its at 7+ mil. Turner can likely replace hilton, i guess. is Battle the future at Safety? Hill is great, do we need another. It would be hard to pass up McKinstry, Nabars, Wiggins, etc. Im not against an OL, but some weapon replacement may be needed drastically, and some upgrades in the secondary is also probably not a bad idea. Id be down for DJ Reader to come back if he wishes at a reasonable price.
  2. how has it been like 4 years talking about drafting OL as if its some magical fix. what world are yall living in? do you think nfl teamsa re just slaying in the draft? how many teams do you think have 5 good linemen? here is some sweet draft data for you. this is even harsher data than i used when i did my OL data for first two round picks. of which 30% made it to a second contract at all. but go off i guess... def spend both first two round picks on linemen, with the ENTIRE NFL LEAGUE AVERAGE FOR SUCCESS, we will have a 30% chance of landing a starter worth keeping when the rookie deal ends. i mean there are several articles about this and several more about why this is with Linemen. how do so many people just keep pretending none of that is true and available data.
  3. the difference in luck sacks per game played and burrow sacks per game played is less than 1 sack per game. .82 sacks per game if i recall.
  4. missed the last in season tourney game at home cause im od, and tired, next one is tuesday with the wild court and new jerseys... then no home games until afer thanksgiving. nuggets will have thier THIRD back to back on a road/road back to back in the first 5 weeks of the season.. the nba hates the nuggets. always have the wackest schedule
  5. AG doing a signing Wednesday, I have his game worn playoff jersey from April 2022 game 1 loss to Warriors and had Shawn Voelker do a painting for me.
  6. been wild how they are winning dispite the lineup and rotation shekups last few games. jokic typically was a rotation of: playif first qtr until 2min left, came back 8 minutes left in second to finish half, then repeat for 3rd/4th qtr.. he played full first and i think full 4th or close to it. julian Strawther shot the lights out then was cold next game. he is getting rookie minutes which is very few unless he is on fire, he was in a tornado against the warriors. they are sso clever on offense he was lost and allowed 6-8 cake points off wide open layups. the warriors actions on offense are bananas to get steph shots, disguising picks and screens to setup the next phase. not many rookies would have stood a chance. honestly to get that lesson and get blown up and still pull. win is HUGE. usually learning games liek that are L's, you cant give up 8 free points to a team like that and win too often. nice to have the real MVP out there to make up for it. Collin Gillespe filling in for Jamal did much better in his second game, he is too small to defend almost anyone though, Reggie Jackson keeping his role as point on the second team rotation is nice. suck not having a better scorer out with him. May need to stagger MPJ even more with that second team, he is shooting 50% as of last few games from 3. the second squad is gonna be very hot and cold this month without jamal. Then jamal getting back into game shape for 2-3 weeks after he is back is gonna suck too.
  7. lmao he didnt get insane out of line and insinuate somones wife was attractive or anything... this whole article is none of our business... nothing about what goes on in a billion dollar organization is our business.. what kind of response is this.
  8. ah these picks are of the bengals sideline, which isnt on tv, people saying opposing sideline sucks
  9. lesean mccoy is an odd dumbfuck homer for the bills and seems to have some odd grudge against burrow. its like he is trying to get a job with the bills via being in the media nut hugging allen and the bills.
  10. ha, he does look like his mother, other kid looks like me, and the personalities are swapped, its really odd honestly. hopefully Murrays injury isnt serious, left with a hammy issue didnt return.. luckily porter went nuts, he is 9/18 from 3 in the last two games.. I have an AG painting in the works at the moment, he has a signing next week. already have jokic painting signed, MPG painting signed, have a murray but not yet signed, and the AG on the way.. such a fun team. opposing fans get AMPED when they get a 4-6 point lead, and if there is more than 40 seconds left nuggets fans arent concerned. its never if we will win, its how we will win. been fun for sure.
  11. i dunno about all that. he is currently ranked 79th for corners, with even dj turner ranking better. CTB got abused early in the year. if he keeps playing like he has th elast 2-3 weeks though he will shoot up the rankings quickly.. but top 10 is bananas at this point.
  12. this was a lame call, it appeard to be reasonable but they came in waist high, he was moving backwards, they didnt really do anything wrong.
  13. last question. if the LEAGUE WIDE, rate of a first or second round drafted o-lineman, remaining with the team who drafted him past their rookie deal, is 30%. why does everyone pretend everyone is both great at drafting linemen and has great olines, except the bengals. you just read an article saying why, LEAGUE WIDE, linemen are trash and hard to find.. why do you pretend its a bengals specific issue and start blaming coaches, etc? you JUST read it.. and the percentage of second deals for 1/2rd picks is less than 1 in 3. for the entire league.
  14. follow up question. if, say, you have a QB who is hurt, so you are both always in shotgun, AND that qb is unable to move in the pocket and escape pressure at all, would that, MAYBE, make the performance of those protecting him appear to be much worse than it normally would be? asking for a friend.
  15. got a question for ya. say you draft or sign a good player, right? if you put that good player, next to a bad player, do you think the performance of the good player would decrease due to being next to a worse team mate, which would reasonably make their job harder or put them in worse situations during plays? like say you put a guy like orlando brown, next to, i dunno, one of the worst rated offensive linemen in the entire league at his position? thoughts?
  16. my god. why are yall so DESPERATE to pretind this dude is anything but below average? he had a basic block, meanwhile brown pulls from LT across the run lane and smashed the lineback creating the huge hole.. un fucking real with you all. the motives are starting to get suspicious to be honest.
  17. i cant fathom that anyone the bengals drafted is slotted to replace higgins snaps in this offense, or boyds honestly. meh, i dont think playing with burrow years ago and being extremely below mediocre in the nfl since is much to yearn for, for me personally. for what? lmfao this is kind of a list of old, overpaid or shitty players. because teams dont trade good players on reasonable contracts no matter what their situation. waoah... "thats someones WIFE" - some asshole on here, probably. i dunno about all that, there were 11 trades last year, how many this year? not all that common. yall think the coaches just have a crush on Irv smith or something? they are giving him a chance post injury and injury recovery (hanstring injury was effecting him until the bye) but if there was a clear better option for everything we need you dont think theyd have replaced him by now? he isa 1 year guy making peanuts, if hudson was clearly better at everything, he would be getting more snaps, the coaches know something they dont care for, i would assume. im not sure than 12 lbs difference is really a game changer between the two. and considering the 2" height difference id say the frame is identical. yea those 11 games he was healthy for the last two years combined were awesome.. lol great player, but damn. lmao carl lawson isnt anything to write home about either. hasnt done a damn thing since leaving. and ossai cant stay healthy? Lawson has missed many games in 3 of his 6 years as well. ewww. no they wouldnt have. lawson is making 15mil. ayear, and young is about to get a huge stack when his rookie deal ends. lololol what did his body language say? he had one single catch. only has 11 on the year, zero touchdown, hell he has 1 more reception than irv smith, and like 88 more yards, Mayer is projected to end with 23 catches, 300 yards and zero touchdown... a guy can dream tho right?
  18. we know cause yall stopped crying that the season was over and trying to play jake fucking browning (fmfs).
  19. man can you believe they want to involve fans and let people do something they may enjoy to feel slightly more connected, how silly. OH and bring back a long tenured player, local, and fan favorite to boot? sheesh... doesnt look like i will be there either. did sell my extra set today for $750/pair, holding my set for a few more days to be sure im not coming. this dude has been injured half his career holy shit i just looked at his stats, 61 starts in 6 years. not likely to play us either way but yikes. close. will be close if they get a lead, could be the same as SF if we get a lead. i am eager to see. yes and also yes. but they dont think the bills will win on that line, as stated in the data point, the bengals are indeed favored... to win. yes. sililar ratings aside from LT, their LT hasnt had to play next to Sloth Fratelli all season. yes the home team gets the advantage to win by three if even, they feel the bills are the better team but the bengals win due to home field. the only innacuracy he is pointing out is that they think the bills are better, not that the bills will win. now we are getting off track. a bit different rating/picking system vs the traditional spread. that pick is wild though. there isnt a ton of orange bengals gear, its all black or white based. if they want an orange out, they need to pass out towels, and honestly for the striped sections, they should have passed out t shirts or towels per section, fans are dumb as hell, and as mentioned there isnt a ton of orange gear even the jerseys are slim pickins,
  20. its the money not the trash pick, IMO, does paying a 32 year old TE they didnt want to pay 4 months ago and giving up any random pick sound like a bengals move? thats a browns/bears type move, or a 2002 bengals move. yes. perine is just a guy, lets not pretend he is more than that. he had a couple great games, but at the end of the day he is a great blocking, average, at best, running RB. lets be real about some things. Perine is only able to have moderate success when he is the 5th(6th?) option, the chiefs and steelers certainly knew perine existed, but Mixon left with a concussion(vs steelers), so the steelers planned for Chase, Tee, Boyd, Hurst, Mixon, Joe Running, Drew Sample, the water boy, then THEN Perine. mixon leaves with a concussion, and the perine plays (not plays for perine but the plays that perine can run, very different than Mixon) so its shit thats not on film, shit they didnt see us run with/for him ever. Lets also be clear, that his stats in YPC are beefed up due to coming in with fresh legs in trash time OR fresh legs and a "surprise" 3rd down run on a 50/50 or passing down getting 5-6 yards on 3rd and 13 type of thing. While mixon is the one crushing through for a 1 yard TD or 3rd or 4th and 1, etc. I would take Perine over Williams, sure, but he is a player barely worth thinking about. we dont run Williams as much, but his blocking is solid, he had the one mental error in that one game but has been pretty solid in general. he has also been hurt, but he is also not very good. I agree with the above, in fact i said it 2-3 times in previous weeks, but he isnt very good, there is a reason he is getting a 1 year sub 2 mil a year deal, if he were good, someone would be paying him 4-5 mil a year on a flyer to help out the team. does he get one more chance after the fumble? if so, then there is something wrong with Hudson that they dont like or cant trust. meh, not really a huge deal, serviceable guys all around, and any upgrades come with high age AND/or large price tags. two things the bengals dislike. maybe. does he block well? i havent paid a ton of attention, seems he almost HAS to be missing somehing the coaches want or need if he isnt getting more snaps than he has been getting.
