Trey'd Hendrickson? I don't think so.
mike brown is fucking 90 and hasnt been part of contract negoations since andy daltons extension. what the fuck does he have to do with anything? this quote:? “It’s just a data point and we're trying to get a deal done with Trey,” Tobin said. “So that would tell you what our conclusion is on it, we are trying actively to get a deal done with Trey. It's just a matter of coming to an agreement on what that looks like and what fits for us with the other things that we've got coming. But we value Trey, and we know what he is. He's a big part of our team, and, yeah, he's 30. That's a data point. There's a lot of data points that go into what we feel is right, and others that go into what he feels is right, and we're trying to come to an agreement there. But we’ll see if we can do it.” or this one? “It’s just a data point and we're trying to get a deal done with Trey,” Tobin said. “So that would tell you what our conclusion is on it, we are trying actively to get a deal done with Trey. It's just a matter of coming to an agreement on what that looks like and what fits for us with the other things that we've got coming. But we value Trey, and we know what he is. There's a lot of data points that go into what we feel is right, and others that go into what he feels is right, and we're trying to come to an agreement there. But we’ll see if we can do it.” im having a hard time finding a quote where they said they were going to pay him op of the market DE money or anything even remotely close to that. they have offered him 3 years roughly 85 million. over 40 guaranteed. he has not accepted. that would cover the seasons in which he turns 31, 32, and 33 years old. bengals arent dragging their feet on anything. this is the only fanbase i have ever seen that believes all the shit talk about its team and none of the logic. just so they can pretend to be right about hating someone or something in the organization. literally not dragging their feet on anything what so ever.. nothing https://x.com/andreperrotta13/status/1921978959069126718?s=64&t=l1l2KYDckSsag_vYeqoK-g no interest? hell they outright refuse to. always have, always will, they tell agents and clients as much, his former baseball player agent is a dumbass and only has trash ass clients... with good reason. trey is his prized football client.. his agent is a dumbass, and gave him bad advice signing a 1 year 21 mil extension. "yes trey, bet against yourself, youll never get more than that, and if you play better we will stick it to them in the media until they cave" or whatever former baseball player agents say. he would be a fucking dumbass to play this year and leave... he has 85 million on the table. thats 28 a year.. so that alone is 7 mil he loses out on.. which means if he gets a 2 year deal when he leaves it needs to be 32 per year to roughly break even. and thats if he leads the nfl in sacks again, if he decelines, even to 15 sacks, teams are looking down the barrel at an older, and productipn in slight decline player who will be 32,33,34 in the next coming years...he isnt likely to to recoup the losses of not signing this deal that is on the table. this is a bit dramatic, but i agree with the theory.. having the sack leader doesnt always equal defensive success. there have been some comically mediocre breakdowns of him disappearing and being bad in run defense, etc. but he is a good player, he isnt myles garrett, and as you are aluding to, sacks dont equal wins. they do put you behind the 8 ball and long downs and such.. so tremendous value in them of course.. didnt he get less sacks with better players next to him? its almost like the DL schemed to try to spring trey and prevent doubles if possible to create opportunities or something... since theye didnt have any pure rushers along side him.. in fact if you went back his whole career, id bet the better the guys next to him are, the less sacks he got.... go check and let me know. back to new orleans.. 1? 2? over a few years? wonder if we could go back and see plays where he didnt set the edge on a run defense or went to wide allowing mahomes or jackson to step through and run or step up and throw a 4th down bomb putting a rookie in a bad spot to commit a penalty losing the game... or something similar? all players have those plays, trey is tremendous, but he isnt a flawless hall of famer... had an incredible season, trying to capitalize nbecasue he isnt likely to have another like it, IMO he is a really really good DE, bengals wanna give him really really good DE money, he wants top 4 money, they offered him top 5 money... but somehow they are wrong.. this is silly. he obviously isnt that type of player or person so they arent really options, are they? they do want to pay him market rate... 28-ish mil a year... he wants top 4 DE money.. if the only performance metrics for DE's was sacks.. he may have a point.. its not.. he is a great pass rusher.. he needs to take top 5-ish DE money.. which is 28mil. yeah DJ is perhaps a poster child of why you dont overpay aging players, the rule, tho fans only want to point out the exceptions to the rule (whitworth, etc) trey had a all time best of his life season last year, aside from sacks even tackles, etc.. he did have 11 missed tackles, garret had 3, Crosby had 6, hunter had 5, so twice as many as 3 of the 4 guys ahead of him in pay vs what he has been offered. he had double the missed tackles. how many more stats are there like that? i have no idea.. not shaming the guy.. he is really really good. he should probably just sign his offer, because the offer isnt changing and he will lose money if he doesnt. its pretty cut and dry. i dont know the dirt of it, just that its around 28 a year, is the 28 after incentives? before? so could be anywhere in the 27-29 range average per.. the 5th hghest paid de makes 28.5 currently. trey should probably sign the offer.

2025 Schedule Release
hoping for early season game in Denver, or if not a clean 11am local time start, so my kid can come home for it and get back to school without missing practice or classes.

Trey'd Hendrickson? I don't think so.
what is there to communicate? he keeps saying that.. there is nothing to communicate. what he wants communicated is more money. what else does he want them to say? its just Agent speak for "they have given their final offer and we want more money than that" yeah man you have zero leverage. you know it, the team knows it, the agent knows it. an offer over 28mil per year is on the table, with roughly 50% guarantee. if i had to guess the pinpoint deal, i know for sure the rough numbers. id say 3/$85 with 42-44 guaranteed. his options are once again. 1. Play on his deal and make 1 year 21 million 2. sit out and make $0-15million for the year depending on sit out length possibly still having the team retain his rights if he sat whole season. 3. sign the fucking deal and double his life earnings what is there to talk about? He bet against himself and signed the 1 year 21 mil deal. thats on him. if he didnt, he would have some leverage. he has ZERO leverage.

well this sourpuss fanbase shits on everyone in the organization and on the roster.. there are a few keen souls talking shit about joe for missing a mini camp workout in may. the old coaches sucked, the new coaches sucked, the old draft picks sucked, the new draft picks sucked. but also every free agent on earth is dying to paly here and the front office just doesnt call to inquire about them, obviously.

Offseason Program/Rookie Minicamp/OTAs/Mandatory Minicamp
Catapalt isnt a brace, its a performance tracking devices, all sports use it, some NBA players play the games in them, it rates everything you do, oxygen, speed, heartrate, and syncs with a software to help in training. it has nothing to do with injuries in any way what so ever. its pathetic that someone who "covers" sports isnt very familiar with it.. https://www.catapult.com/sports/american-football link for those interested at all. its probably the most commonly used data analysis device used in pro and college sports. and rich ass high schools. so everyone can probably take a deep breath on charlie jones... man could you imagine having to play in jacksonville, no state income tax, great weather, having to choose from incredible places to live like this on the water: just think they could live in kentucky...bunch of losers... theyd ahve to hop on a cheap flight or couple hour drive and get to miami or the keys....or are we pretending everyone who plays there is required to live under a bridge in jacksonville like the homeless? buffalo would be wack tho.

**OFF TOPIC** again.... Creating labels form excel list maintaining a format to fit the width.
sorry for yet another off topic post but thats life...lol I have in inventory about 400 flavorings from various manufacturers (Capella, LoRann, Flavor West, etc, etc, etc) I am creating a list in excel of pricing and maker and flavor name. After that I would like to print the list from our thermal label printer onto a roll of 2x4" labels with the following format first line, bold, 14pt font the company (CAPELLA) (if this part isnt possible i can live without it) second line, fixed to the width of the label, BOLD, the flavor name. if neith of those are possible, i just need to find the longest name and see what the max font size will fit on the label and run the list. everything online shows a mail merge as the way to do this. it seems to want to do this via sheets isntead of via a roll in a thermal printer. im not sure if that matters. SECONDLY i need to run a similar list, with just finish product flavor names, and run 6 of each ( i can just print 6 copies of the list if needed thats fine, id would be cool if they go in order, like BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, BLUE ICE, BLUE ICE, etc... is mailmerge the option or is there some fotware i should be trying to do this easier or faster? mailmerge seems to target shipping labels and details that mean nothing to me.. i just wannt print a long ass list onto labels with formatting i choose. anything clever out there i should look into? thanks!

Bengals merchandise/sales/collectibles/swag
as far as photo matching goes whenever the seller is too lazy to narrow down the game... you can see the two white marks on the orange stripe on the left... and then the light scuff above the nike symbol on the right.. same marks from my photo....

for narrowing down when the jersey was worn.. in November 2014 they played: Jags (orange Jerseys) Browns (black Jerseys) Saints (white Jerseys) Texans (white Jerseys) Bucs (white jerseys) so looks like it was worn vs browns. had 1 tackle for loss and we got our assses kicked...

thats the plan.. but like, i have lots of "plans" for things that never happen... currently all of them are in weather proof air tight water proof bins. I am somewhere around the 40-45 jersey mark for football jerseys. probably 10-15 NBA jerseys.. i think i have 5-ish MLb jerseys.. i honestly kind wanna build a new house and have a huge basement to frame and hang. also working with my brother in law to design a new style of jersey frame for the hobbyists out there, to be able to hang them easily and be able to flip then front and backwards to owners can show either side without having to remove and re-frame. framing is tough and if professionally done very expensive more cost than the jerseys themselves in many cases.

Report: Bengals to exercise Dax Hill’s fifth-year option
how many lockdown CB1s are in the league? there are 5 who had a coverage rating even in the 80's. so im with you.. they do not have a shutdown CB1... i also dont expect them to really ever have one... when have they ever had one? Cheeto once for 1 year cracked top 10 in coverage... anyone else? Leon hall wwas very good for a long time, but i felt he was a tier 2 really good vet corner.. would be a shutdown CB1? i could see at some point you draft and pay a CB1 instead of a Trey hendrickson... but it wont likely be both. PS: id say a lot of stuff was lou's fault.. but none of that has anything to do with not magically having top 5 corner in the nfl on a rsoter clearly built for offensive domination and with 3x first two round picks in the CB room.

Report: Bengals to exercise Dax Hill’s fifth-year option
he played very well before getting hurt. IIRC his only bad grade was the commanders game, giving up the mirable 4th down TD i think it was.. i think he is best served outside, and Duke talked about him playing outside as well, i think he should be CB1 and CTB CB2. how often do we run 4 CB sets? more importantly what will golden do with them? putting probably your most skilled corner in the slot is wack... i dont care for it.. turner should be full go. dax will have to play him self back into football shape the first few weeks of the season.
