Totally off topic. Was about to watch Florida vs Utah on Spectrum. Watched the ESPN pre game show. Game starts and then Spectrum informs us that ESPN has pulled their programming from their platform since they want more money. Mother f’ers!!! So now I am watching the 3-0 Nebraska v Minn game and it’s almost halftime -
Bringing back an oldie but a goodie.

A classic, right up there with LaVar Arrington. -

He was the last pick for a reason. Limited arm strength, can’t throw downfield. The reality is they use Debo and McCaffrey to complete short passes and hope for yards after catch. Defenses will adjust to this soon enough. -

The guy they drafted was considered the best practice kicker in league history. It was kicking during games that seemed to be his problem. Watch them go after whichever kicker the Saints cut. They rookie they had in camp was awesome in the preseason. Their normal kicker is money as well. -

Tell me you are tanking without telling me you are tanking. This is the most obvious attempt at going 0-17 I have probably ever seen. Joshua Dobbs, who has been on the team 1 week(?) is the season starter and his backup is a 5th round rookie named Clayton “carry a” Tune. So their 2 QBs have a grand total of 2 NFL starts and the actual starter, who we all know sucks, has had his playbook for 1 week. Also, you can forget about Murray playing anytime soon, that ship has sailed and that contract extension was utter stupidity. Murray literally shove red flags up their asses and they still extended him. Gonna trade him for picks. -

New Orleans has 2 great kickers. Someone is going to get one of them I suspect. -

Drafting QBs is a crap shoot. Mitch Trubisky was drafted ahead of Mahomes. Carson Wentz was the #2 pick. Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota went 1 and 2. -

I mean, If he had chosen Cousins, everyone would accuse him of being a Homer. At least he is honest and his list is pretty solid. -

Not surprising. Last year of his deal so he doesn’t want to risk injury. This should be interesting. -

I dunno. I think Diggs is probably the problem here. There is a reason Minnesota got rid of him and didn’t even blink an eye. -

The one thing the NFL structure does insure is profitability. Literally Federal Reserve printing presses. It’s why nobody with real money would waste it buying the Reds. They will never be competitive with a payroll 25% of the Mets. The fact Washington hasn’t been competitive for years is utter incompetence. It is almost impossible to not make the playoffs every 3 years. 44% of the teams make the playoffs every year. -

Regardless, Burrow is a better human being and way more likeable. People like guys like Burrow and Mahomes because they are genuinely good dudes. Nobody likes or cares about Watson. -

He will be the next AJ Green. The Arizona Cardinals version. Maybe Josh Gordon is available? -

Playing with a torn ACL is a bit different than playing with a sprained PCL that had already had 6 weeks to heal. The reality is he would have played if he had signed a deal a year ago like his agent should have taken care of…oh wait. -

Yep, if he had an agent who could have been his advocate 24/7 he probably would have already had a Kyler Murray type deal on the books. Worse is waiting this long has already priced him out of many club’s reach like Tampa Bay who simple don’t have the cap space. The agent could have set a realistic expectation and also marketed and signed him to endorsement deals. The guy literally has almost zero endorsements. All for the reasonable cost of 3%.
