  1. Channeling my inner Lloyd, I guess. Embarrassed last week, motivated by pride and fine tuning... and fear of losing their jobs (any interior D lineman who does not have initials rather than a first name)... fear of losing their job (O line and D line coaches) and we really are NOT that bad. Also thinking trap game for the Jags. We are easy to overlook. I'm hitting Hard Rock this AM and putting $20 on the Bengals... with the points.
  2. Don't come over here but this ended up in my e mail (spam folder) and I thought I would share. Neutral, no opinion just FYI and don't shoot the messenger. Did not want to put on the Bengals board... "My name is Wallace Gilberry. I cut my teeth on the gridiron in Tuscaloosa. I played for Mike Shula & Nick Saban, then made it 9 seasons in the NFL. Football – along with my mom and great-grandmother – taught me everything I know, like: 1) Bring glory to God on and off the field 2) Play through the whistle 3) Always stand to honor those who keep us free My name is Wallace Gilberry. If you’ve never heard of me, that’s OK – here’s what you should know: I’m a Black man in America who is familiar with the struggles of our community. But I’m also a Republican who voted for Trump. And I’m running in the single most competitive House race in the entire country. I’m running against more than a DOZEN far-left Democrats with an army of mega-donors backing them. I’ve never run for office. They have. I’ve never even sent an email like this before. But I was raised by a single mom who worked 2 jobs to put food on the table for her 5 kids – being an underdog is nothing new to me or my family. So – with grit and determination in my heart – I’m respectfully asking you to pitch in JUST a few bucks now to fuel my underdog campaign to victory. PLEASE DONATE HERE I promise I’ll make you proud when we win it all. God bless you, Wallace Gilberry
  3. Since the game is a Saturday game The Precinct has been booked for months even before the game day and time was announced. Going to Whisky's in Lawrenceberg. We go there every Saturday only going later this time.
  4. So agree. He has like one, maybe two good runs a game. And I don't know what a JAG is.
  5. I'm now down for I do not think they will lose out. I would, however, like to see then trade up for a Bowers of Alt, Peace in the Middle East and to finally find the pony in the mountain of horse manure. But there's a chance. There's always a chance. Last Sunday prayers were answered and the scoreboard ring went out not only killing the time clock but stopping The Game Day Experience Get Loud prompts.
  6. I think we have a pretty decent change of winning this one. There goes the draft choice.
  7. LOL (at myself) I thought the Bengals released him ages ago. DOH! FWIW, I didn't realize he was sent uo the river.
  8. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/arrest-warrant-bills-von-miller-issued-alleged-domestic-violence-incident-involving-pregnant-woman Arrest warrant for Bills' Von Miller issued over alleged domestic violence incident involving pregnant woman Two-time Super Bowl champion and Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller is facing charges related to an alleged domestic violence incident in his native Texas and a warrant for his arrest has been issued, police confirmed to Fox News Ditial on Thursday. The Dallas Police Department responded to the 3100 block of N. Harwood at approximately 11 a.m. on Wednesday in response to a "major disturbance call." According to law enforcement, Miller left the scene before officers arrived, but the preliminary investigation found that a verbal argument between Miller and the victim ensued where he then allegedly "assaulted the victim." The victim, who was not identified by police, was not hospitalized but was treated for "minor injuries." "This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point."
  9. I thought the highlight of his career here was his teenage daughter boinking a third string linebacker.
  10. CINCINNATI — Former Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson was fired as the head coach of Grambling State this week. Jackson went 8-14 in two seasons at Grambling State. "We want to thank Coach Jackson on his contributions to the GSU football program," athletic director Trayvean Scott said in a statement. "We wish him well in all his future endeavors. This was not an easy decision to make but one that we felt was necessary to move our program forward. The goal at GSU is to compete for championships every year. As we move forward, we will be intentional in finding the right person to lead this program back to its rightful place as one of the top programs in the country." Jackson was the Bengals OC from 2014-15 before taking the head coach role with the Cleveland Browns from 2016-18.
  11. I would much rater see Max Montoya. Remember how he was the league's best stealth holder, holding without getting caught, and how he introduces spraying Pam anti stick kitchen spray on the dark jerseys to prevent D linemen from engaging.
  12. This is cool. Esp since it's away and I'm not paying to see it. Watching it by firelight in the comfort of my living room sounds wonderful to me.
  13. Agree. I would like to see OT Round One and OG Round Two. And I am not in 100% agreement with some of the statements here that college OLinemen are not ready for the NFL right out of college. Scouting and coaching should clear some of that up. As far as depending on Free Agents... I hate that a idea. Volson takes all the heat but considering how the entire Oline plays and where we rank, the rest of them aren't exactly rosebuds, either. As far as Jonah Williams... with the stats and praise he is currently getting, I want him gone, too. I can't forget he got Joe Burrow knocked out for the season, and thank God not career, and watching T.J. Watt go untouched into Browning last week tells me all I want to know about Jonah Williams. Of course, Bengals Being Bengals and Bengals Doing What Bengals Do... if a flashy wide receiver falls (besides Harrison who won't) they will make him the next John Ross or David Verser. In Tee I Trust.
  14. Interesting... using this as a guide, Numbers (where has he been, btw?) 4, 5 and 6 are TE Bowers, and OTs Fashany and Alt. You know there will be a run on quarterbacks (and Harrison will be gone removing him from temptation) so if we draft 5-7 we could get one. Of course, I have full 100% confidence in the Bengals to somehow screw it up. Win a few games, get cutesy and trade down for more draft picks and lower quality... etc. Why? Because we're Bengals, son. A quality Guard in Round Two. ........... Of course, tag Tee and go WR next year. Would love to win the lottery, too.

  16. James Harrison and Whines Hard semi finalist for the 2024 Hall of Fame. Pardon me while I puke.
  17. What does Taylor Swift think about this? Anyway, he's probably thinking "Gee... I wish I had a quarterback like Joe Burrow".
