  1. The sad thing will be when he is introduced and 2/3ds of the crowd say "who?". Agree on repairing relationships with former players and Corey Dillon is the #1 example.
  2. In Pittsburgh they ask if they hold the corn cob in the left hand or right.
  3. https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/2023/11/07/bengals-snap-count-takeaways-win-bills-myles-murphy/ Myles Murphy emerges and Bengals snap count takeaways from win over Bills First-round rookie Myles Murphy played 10 snaps, or 17 percent of the total. Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s notable because it checks in as six more chances than Joseph Ossai got, which speaks to the trust he’s earning from coaches. He even got deployed in key moments, taking snaps on first and second downs while Trey Hendrickson came in as a pass-rush specialist on third down. It’s very notable that he’s coming along after he entered the season a question mark to even be active on game days and that could keep Hendrickson much fresher going into a possible playoff push. ********or they're losing faith in Ossai.... hsh As far as second round choices... Jackson Carman says "hello". Could have been worse, I guess, we could have drafted Leatherwood. BUT... yes, generally speaking we do very well in the second round.
  4. As I recall, the statement was made to this Sunday's Ruler of the Jungle.
  5. Tee... Keeping Tee would be like an extra first round wr. Let Jonah walk and draft the OT in the first round even trading up for a stud.
  6. I thought Ja'Marr, too, but he isn't too harsh. Thought someone had not told them Eli Apple is no longer on the team.
  7. No hijack. New Ruby's is open at 5th and Vine, directly across from Fountain Square. Really nice but typical Ruby overkill. Mother of pearl piano imported from France... $750,000. Been there twice. The old one is now some sort of Jeff Ruby banquet place.
  8. That's what happened to me at 580 Garage (Walnut across from Fountain Square). Day trippers and Bills fans waiting until they got to the gate to mess with credit cards and tickets rather than prepaying like one is supposed to. Now $20, used to be $10 but when I see the $50 parking closer to the stadium it takes away some of the pain. One thing I don't understand is how every year they make the hill from the stadium up Walnut or Vine steeper.
  9. Agree across the board including sit Ja'Marr if he isn't really ready. Too valuable to risk injury before a short week and prime time game vs the Rats at their house. BTW... left as soon as Whiff Miller missed Joe Mixon to beat the crowd. Good idea. Everyone had it. It was still a mob scene. LOL Biggest problem was getting out of the parking garage where too many people did not know how to use the credit card payment for their ticket. Oh... my "trap game" fears... I agree with you on that, too. Just a personal superstition bringing it up to block the jinx. I have also started wearing one sock inside out on game days. Seems to help.
  10. I guess according to this fool anyone who beats the Chiefs is a bad winner.
  11. Harry Downer here, maybe but... Classic Trap game? Coming off a big win vs Buffalo in prime time and in a spectacular atmosphere Sunday the seemingly weaker Texans and looking ahead at a short week to Thursday night against the Ravens that will for sure have impact on both teams playoff futures. Like the guy who sits a few rows behind us always screams "FOCUS"!
  12. Absolutely true. I complain about the "game day experience" being annoying and distracting from the game itself, getting all the drunks and day trippers fired up and not so much about what was going on on the field, getting dressed up and taking selfies, etc. BUT this was totally awesome. Disappointed in how little national coverage I have seen of this and think it it was the Patriots or Cowboys or a Florida team the media would be downright orgasmic.
  13. CLEVELAND (AP) — Cleveland Browns starting left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. dodged a season-ending knee injury but will miss at least four weeks after being hurt in Sunday's win over Arizona.
  14. Nor do I and Nor do I like saying this but I would prefer to see him take Sunday off before the short week going into the Baltimore cheap shot head hunters game the following Thursday.
  15. If this was a Marvin team I would mark this up as a L. I'm more optimistic about this bunch of players and coaches.
  16. What's all this love for their rookie quarterback? Wait until he sees what Lou's got cookin' for him. And...
  17. I ❤️ Isobel. Her Gentleman Tiger calendars are going to take care of some of my Christmas shopping. *Great to hear the striped stands came out well on TV. I, too, was skeptical and pleasantly surprised. They were awesome from inside. * How many consecutive penalties were there that took us from 4th and 1 to out of field goal range? I thought it had to be a record. Also, on here folks seem to be saying Karris was the one holding on a few. At the stadium they announced... 67, Volson. * Can't find it now but I read somewhere this morning that was the second largest crowd at the Bengals stadium. I believe it. Took quite awhile to get out of the parking garage but the upside was pretty much a straight shot home after I got out. Thank you, one and all ,for an excellent tread. I look forward to reading them the next day. Any idea when/where there will be a replay?
  18. Taylor Swift will dump Troglodyte Kelce and be in our locker room snagging on Drew Sample.
