  1. I lost track... Is McCaffealatte healthy? If so... could loom large. OK... Joe is lining up under center. Saw it once last week. If so, will he be able to do something besides hand it to the #1 running back in the division?
  2. So pay the man. He's like another first round draft choice only with experience and familiarity with the program and team, esp the quarterback.
  3. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/jim-irsay-nfl-admits-incorrect-020603733.html Jim Irsay: NFL admits incorrect calls were made to end Colts, Browns game Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay aired out some dirty laundry Tuesday, making it known that the NFL admitted to making incorrect calls at the end of the Week 7 game against the Cleveland Browns. Irsay also is calling for the league to institute instant replay reviews of all plays during the final two minutes in all games to avoid a similar situation. “The NFL admits and understands that they did not make the correct calls at end of Sunday’s Colts/Browns Game. I believe we need to institute Instant Replay for all calls, including Penalties, in the last two minutes of All Games.” :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Only part of the article which is not a bad read at all, worth a few minutes. Number of X clips of the calls most of which have been posted here previously.
  4. The Los Angeles Rams released veteran kicker Brett Maher on Tuesday, two days after he missed three significant kicks in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Stealers. ::::::::::::::::::::::: If he had made them, the Squeels would have lost. If a pig had wings, it could flap them and fly to the moon. Basically... the Squeels and Clowns had games virtually handed to them last weekend.
  5. Thinking the same thing. Game should be Bengals vs 49ers and the Refs (OT) Still sick to my stomach about the Clowns last week. Couldn't neat the Colts even though they got four turnovers and the refs had to win it for them.
  6. Very nice. I had to click on the blank screen to get it to open. Can't wait to see what Isobel Hamilton comes up with for this one.
  7. That's my thinking, too, but I know in my heart that if I put $$ on them that would be the Kiss of Death.
  8. And conversely right here and now with the Bengals, sticking with the same poor players at a make or break point in the season who have underperformed and can be improved upon; the proverbial pounding square pegs into round holes or the definition of insanity being doing the same thing over and over again even though it doesn't work. Yes, Joe Mixon and Yes Irv Smurf Jr. Still have the brain worm about the Eagles even though they have the best record in the NFC trading and making changes to improve while we are standing pat at a crucial point in the season.
  9. Very interesting but to be honest, I lost track of him after he left the Bengals. I always liked him and never understood the criticism when he was here.
  10. Just reading the comments and some stuff on Yahoo Sports... YS article I can't find again said The Real Slim Purdy Just Stood Up and looked rather... meh. We're underdogs... I would be seriously temped to put a few $$ on the Bengals but will not for fear of jinxing them. No
  11. The Philadelphia Eagles are trading to acquire safety Kevin Byard from the Tennessee Titans, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. The 2-4 Titans will receive safety Terrell Edmunds and fifth- and sixth-round draft picks in return, per the report. Byard, 30, is a two-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler. He was last named All-Pro in 2021. He'll provide an immediate upgrade in the secondary for a 6-1 Eagles team that ranks 18th against the pass and seventh overall in yards allowed per game. His arrival should help shore up an area of relative weakness for a team tied for the best record in the NFL. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Gosh and Golly Gee... Imagine that. A team with a 6-1 Record (tied with the Chiefs), Best in the NFC, two games up on the second place team in their division virtually guaranteed a play off slot unless they have a complete melt down trading for probably a Rent-A-Player upgrade for the rest of the season. And the Bengals coming off the Bye Week not doing jack shit.
  12. One at a time. The Future starts Sunday. Go Jags beat The Squeels and the refs Go Seahawks beat The Clowns and the refs Go Arizona... well, good luck. Go Us... beat Bosa and Sure Does Have a Purdy Mouth
  13. Not watching either of these dumpster fires. Just checking the ESPN ticker and it looks like our bye Sunday off sucks ass.
  14. So much this. Chances are he could clear waivers and be back on our practice squad. Possibly cut Wilcox who would perhaps be more likely to clear waivers. Also curious about Zach Gentry, the big tight end practice squad pick up from the Stealers. Can he block?
  15. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/seahawks-jamal-adams-hit-50k-fine-inappropriate-conduct-concussion-doctor-sideline-reports Seahawks' Jamal Adams hit with $50k fine for inappropriate conduct with concussion doctor on sideline: reports The NFL handed down a $50,000 fine for Seattle Seahawks defensive back Jamal Adams' verbal remarks and inappropriate contact with a concussion doctor on the sideline during last week's game against the Bengals, according to multiple reports. Per ESPN, the NFL deemed that Adams "directed verbal remarks and made inappropriate physical conduct" with an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant near the Seahawks bench. The doctor was reportedly preparing to evaluate Seahawks receiver Jake Bobo for a possible concussion when Adams engaged in the inappropriate conduct. Bengals safety Dax Hill hit Bobo hard at the end of a 20-yard reception, drawing a flag for unnecessary roughness. Bobo lined up for the next play before referees stopped the game so he could be evaluated. He was ultimately cleared to return to the game. Replays showed Adams repeatedly shouting, "He good!" as the consultant and Bobo walked toward the medical tent. However, those videos did not show any physical contact between Adams and the consultant. It was the second incident in as many games between Adams and an independent physician. In the Seahawks win over the New York Giants in a Monday night game in Week 4, Adams was ruled out with a concussion and was then caught on camera yelling at a consultant on Seattle’s sideline.
