  1. Agree. Let's not forget that Higgins misses several games a season.
  2. Ah! didn't remember that one. Then again, I was 3! Crazy videos.
  3. Mike Milbury and the Bruins beat them to it.
  4. A few years ago most of the fanbase wanted Howie fired.
  5. Let's be honest...the Eagles hit the lottery with draft picks Mitchell and DeJean. Cheap and pro bowl caliber.
  6. Good point. Wasn't thinking that through. Reminded me to put a little down on the Bengals to win SB though.
  7. Boy do I believe this. Drunk family members do some stupid shit. Saw an NHL dad running his mouth to Tie Domi. Sheesh. Domi was the better man and just walked away.
  8. Why take Win Super Bowl at +2100 when you get +2000 for just getting there?
  9. Most professional teams have a green room for families with food and drinks. No, they don't bring everyone who they get tickets in there. It's just families and a random guest here and there. There should be some interior suite or meeting room where they can do this.
  10. Haha. I know Burrow is a big fashion guy. I have liked some of his looks, but some of them.... Those jeans are bad, IMO.
  11. It was like that in the old days before they "slotted" the salaries of draft picks. The Bengals fought tooth and nail to the end to save a few bucks.
  12. This is the likely explanation for the vast majority of conspiracy theories in the world. People are mostly just lazy and incompetent.
  13. It's the media's job to stir shit up, especially in sports. It gets attention. What else would all these talking heads say all day? At the same time it is player after player after player saying this stuff about the Bengals front office. The Brown family reaps what it sows.
  14. And here we thought Katie would usher in a new era....Enjoy Burrow, Chase, and Higgins while they're here.
  15. Yeah, how the Bengals do business can be impersonal and even downright insulting. I get it. On the other hand, a team not wanting to overpay players who are heading into their 30s is understandable. Hendrickson's choice to make this contract dispute very public is pretty selfish. He's decided to make himself as large of a distraction as he can be. Will it force the Brown family to pay him? No shot. Will it lead to a trade? Possibly. Will it harm the team come training camp? Definitely. I appreciate how Chase handled the dispute last season. He "held in" but pretty much kept quiet. Not a fan of how Hendrickson and his agency are handling this.
  16. I have to agree. I've not been impressed with Hendrickson holding the edge on running plays. I'd take Watt all day over him for that reason.
  17. It doesn't. Rich guys take advantage of the tax laws they influence legislators to write with their large donations. It stinks and robs from every one who doesn't have enough money to take advantage of these places to hide money from the IRS. If you live on wages you are getting the shaft as far as taxes go. It also doesn't mean we can't resent the Browns and all the other people that get these benefits. As my grandfather said, "Him that has, gets."
  18. Yeah, I'd rather the Brown family keep that money. I have no issues with Hendrickson's point of view, but going on and on about it in public is a bad look. No one cares. I mean, look at the post above. Regular Joes are only annoyed listening to millionaires and billionaires arguing about money. Finally, when has going public ever worked against the Brown family? Hendrickson's representation leaves much to be desired, IMO.
  19. Oh, boy.... You're 30 buddy. This is business for both you and the Bengals. Stop making it personal, it is not. I guess this is kind of generational. As part of GenX I don't consider squat that happens with business (money wise) personal. The younger generations seem to take a lot of things personal that I would not. Probably best for the Brown family to try to realize this and at least communicate often. Beats having to listen to stuff like this.
  20. Yup. There is the devil in the details. Of course he wants a longer deal at 30. Of course the Bengals don't want to do that considering what the production of players in their 30s often becomes.
  21. I agree Mike isn't involved in any negotiations or other day to day activities. To say he has zero input is naive. The guy is still plenty aware. Continues to hold the "State of the Bengals" session every year. He's plenty aware of what is going on, and if anything odd were to happen he would step in. For example, if they were raise their offer to Hendrickson beyond what had been discussed I'm sure Mike Brown would have something to say. As far as your company goes, I'm sure if things started going in a direction the owner wasn't comfortable with you would hear from him. Mike Brown has always been a very prideful man. He's resisted change for decades. To think he has zero say while he is still very well aware of what is going on just doesn't add up.
  22. 🤣😅😂 Now that's funny. It's fun to question stuff and there are certainly poor decisions made, but to actually think you could do a better job just because you watch games and read the internet? Comical.
  23. He won't get enough opportunities to earn big money unless Chase or Higgins goes down. Not enough footballs with the guys in that receiver room.
  24. He built his entire empire doing this. It worked for him, why stop.
