They will be better in the long run with the 3 guys they got instead. But for tonight we are better off.

I'm more worried about Ohka (sp?). That guy has completely owned the reds in his last few starts. Time to exorcise the Brewer demons if we're going to be serious about a playoff run either as a wildcard or a division winner.

Larue pops out into foul territory...trade him now maybe?

But Milton with sac.

3-1

thank god, now we have a better shot to win.
This homeplate Ump should get his ass kicked for those horrible strikes he called against the Reds.
That jackass called the same pitches balls when Milton was pitching.

yep, i hope he fuckin breaks a leg.

He called strike 3 on Hatteberg on a pitch that was off the plate.
Hatteberg was not happy at all about it and hes not a guy that complains alot.

AND THIS ONE BELONGS TO THE REDS!

Royce Clayton turns a double play to end the game after Guardado gets in a jam in the 9th.

Guardado still perfect in save opportunities as a Red.

I know, that bastard. He only gave up 3 runs over 7 innings. :onoudidnt:

He settled down after that first inning.
I hope he keeps on pitching good, but we all have been tricked by Milton before.

Great game by the Reds it looks like now we are 3 ahead of the diamondbacks in the WC :headbang: I still think we have a good chance at winning the division.

3.5 games behind the cards
2.5 games ahead of arizona
4.0 games ahead of san fran
5.5 games ahead of colorado

and another good thing is arizona, san fran, and colorado still have to play each other a decent amout of times probably, so hopefully they can all beat up on each other

I went to this game !

Miller Park is a pretty nice ballpark.

There was about 35,000 people in attendance.
And MOST of them were Reds fans !

We had pretty good seats. They were 4th row, down the
3rd base line. I saw a replay of the game on FSN North
when I got home... at 3 AM Central time !
I didn`t fall asleep until about 4:30 AM... and my ass is dragging !

A few notes from the game...

David Ross signed autographs for about 30 minutes.
He is one of the FEW Reds players that signed at all.
Brandon Phillips did too. But not as long. And right when
we got up to him, he walked away.

Couldn`t get Griffey, Dunn or Edwin to sign shit.
They did wave at us though... :boring:

As for the game... I know we made it on TV up here
quite a few times. My Girlfriends nephew snagged
a foul ball from Freel in the 2nd inning.

I was happy when Narron started bitching and got tossed.
Some of those calls by the home plate ump were awful.

Milton sucked in the 1st inning, but he settled down and pitched
a solid game. He helped get the win with his bat too.

EE made a spectacular grab on a sharp hit line drive that
would have scored at least a run.

I couldn`t believe Dunn got thrown out at home.
He lit Damian Miller`s ass UP ... but Miller managed
to hang onto the ball somehow...

That snag by Royce Clayton in the 9th, that started the
game ending double play was a definite web gem !

Brewers fans are pretty cool. A few gave me some ribbing
in the parking lot before the game. They were saying
"Oh look ...a Reds fan !" And the Reds are going down tonight !"

When they would say "Oh look a Reds fan"... I replied
"A PROUD REDS FAN"...and when they said you`re going
down tonight"... I said..."nah, the Reds are the better team.
Look at the standings."

Most weren`t happy with the Carlos Lee trade.
They were saying it feels like the season is over,
and hoping that the Brewers somehow re-sign
Lee in the offseason.

They had a few signs talking about the players like Sexon,
Posidnek, Overbay and others being traded all the time.

One guy close to me had a sign that said "Warning to all
Brewers players: DO NOT BECOME A FAN FAVORITE IF
YOU WANT TO STAY IN MILWAUKEE !"

I must admit, I was sweating it (litterally) in the 1st inning.
And in the 9th... I felt like they were going to let a win
slip away.

Glad they pulled off the win ! It made the 3 hour drive
home A LOT more bearable, ecspecially considering that we
had a couple of Brewers fans riding with us !

I took quite a few pictures...maybe when my ass isn`t dragging
so hard, I`ll post them....
