AmishBengalFan
Here are the QB numbers for all three preseason games: GAME 1 (vs Washington) Wright 9/16 101 TD, QBR=96.1 Johnson 11/14 128 TD, QBR=128.6 GAME 2 (at Buffalo) Wright 9/19 99 TD, QBR=80.8 Johnson 8/14 133 TD, QBR=113.1 GAME 3 (vs Green Bay) Palmer 9/14 140 3TD, QBR=136.9 Wright 7/12 65 TD, QBR=101.0 Johnson 1/3 28 TD, QBR=108.3 In all three games, Johnson has performed better than Wright. Is he the better QB, or is it simply that Wright has been playing against better defenders? I'm inclinded to think the latter, but it's hard to dismiss the fact that Johnson's net QBR is 30 points higher than Wright's: GAMES 1-3: Wright 25/47 265 3TD, QBR=91.2 Johnson 20/31 289 3TD, QBR=126.

Do you realize that in 3 preseason games none of our quarterbacks have thrown an interception? That's pretty amazing if you think about it. I bet we are the only team in the NFL that can say that right now.

Storm
Pretty obvious who the coaching staff has chosen to be #2 by the amount of playing time whether it be Johnson or Wright its much better than Kitten Mittens
eva4ben-gal
earlier on I was thinking Johnson looked just as good if not better than Wright but I saw him sail a few last night so I'm going to have to agree with the coaches and go with Wright as my choice, plus he has more starting experience than Johnson.
