There was an official UK basketball thread awhile ago, but it isn't present in 6 pages of searches through the "Anything But Bengals And Reds" Forum, so I'm starting up a new one. I know you fans are out there. How about this winning streak we've been on? Morris is an absolute STUD, Bradley is coming into his own back in the 2 guard slot, freshman are stepping up, we've won nine in a row.... BITCHES NEED NOT REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guest #22 Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Yeah, UK is looking premiere at this point, and Crawford has really intensified for the Conference Schedule, which I like. It was like shades of Buike (though without the 15" biceps) last night (as far as the stat sheets went). Morris is an easy #1 pick in the Draft next year, but if he stays and we get a good guard like Jai Lucas(who is looking hard at us), and that forward from Florida A.J. Stewart lives up to his 5-star rankings, we could be cutting down some nets in a few years. I couldn't find the game on TV, but my parent went, and like typical UK fans, they were not happy with our performance against the now 11-6 Auburn Tigers. They left early, not because we winning (and won by 25 points), but because they were pissed at Ramel Bradley (who had a double-double) and the rest of the team. I called to let them know that WeCons (my new name for Jim Calhoun's criminal legacy), UT, and Duke all lost, but they were still unhappy. I guess they just don't realize that our worst player (Even Woo) would star on UC's squad right now. Quote

He actually looks like he belongs on a basketball floor for a change. And I really like Jasper's play at the point. It opens up a realm of possibilities with that three guard lineup we can run with Crawford and Bradley (and/or Meeks). I still am hating on Sheray Thomas and Bobby Perry though. Freaking learn how to shoot the ball! (although Perry had a good game against Auburn). Quote
