You can go to many different sites and you'll get a whole bevy of different numbers. Also, at different times of the day, on the same server, you will expect different speeds. It's not an exact science when measuring download speeds. There's more variables than worth mentioning in this post. If you want me to get real technical, you can read this article. The whole thing is a myth.
