Starting lineup for 2009?

I am pretty sure Rivers played WLB at USC.

But, when he was drafted, it was stated that he could play all 3 positions.

Brooks and Jeanty were slated as the Middle and Strong starters.
After going through the OTAs and some of Camp, the Bengals put
Rivers at WLB, moved Brooks outside to SLB and put Dhani at MLB.
Brooks had never played any postion other than inside, and Dhani had
barely played a anything but outside. Dhani had started 8 games at WLB
and 1 at SLB in 2007. So like I said, I really can`t see them moving
Rivers now.
I think Jones was put in the middle more so because they wanted a veteran they could count on in that spot. I think, but dont know, that Rivers and Curry can play all three spots.

Someone mentioned Rivers leadership. Is he the fiery leader this team needs in the middle? Or does he lead like Brian Simmons?
Mauluga will not be a Bengal. He is better suited for a 3-4 scheme and his complete lack of discipline on the field is very Ahmad Brooks like. He offers nothing as far as coverage goes and his attitude off the field is not good. He will also be nowhere near the best player available at 6.

Dhani Jones isn't a superstar, but he is exactly what Marvin covets. He is a leader on the field and in the locker room. He does his job and does it well, and will not be replaced anytime soon. I believe that when his contract expires Rivers will be his replacement.
I think you overstate his weaknesses because you are so fond of Curry, however I agree that he lacks discipline (more comparable to Odell than Ahmad) and that his off the field attitude is not 100% great.

For those interested here is a bio for them both

AkiliMVP has persuaded me to like Curry over Mualaga, but I still think Mualaga is very good.

No I think he's good too but he's not a fit in the Bengals defense, he's not a Marvin type of player, not worthy of a top 10 pick and I don't think Jones is going to be replaced.
