If you just look at statistics it's Votto, and it's not close. But I think Rolen has brought a LOT to this team that can't be measured mathematically. He has done a lot to change the "culture" on this team, and his stat's aren't bad either.

To me it's Rolen.

Votto has the better stats, but this offense just isn't the same when Rolen isn't in the lineup every day.

I also vote Rolen. He gives you a quality at bat every time and doesn't get an out on the first pitch. If he's going to get out, he makes the pitcher earn it.

that is the biggest weakness in Votto's game IMO. When he's struggling, it seems to be when he's making a lot of first-pitch outs.

I went with Brandon Phillips. He's setting the table - getting on Base. He's scoring runs. He's driving them in. He's playing some kick ass defense.

The more losses we get without rolen the more i think its gotta be him...records just dont lie that much.
