I would love for shaq and flash to kick detroits ass and win it in 4 games but i dont think that will happen.

this should be a very good series.......these two teams are pretty even....but the thing that gives miami the edge is their bench...i think this will be the key to the series....miami wins 4-2

That first half was crazy, Wade has to step it up...It will go 7 and MIA will go all the way. I couldn't beleive the lack of call MIA was getting early in the game, I thought they were the home team.

I was at the game and I had to call my brother watching it at home to ask if they were mentioning anything about the calls on TV (Mourning hit up for a T when his left hand inadvertently touches the net while he blocks a shot with his right? During the Eastern Conference finals??? You don't make that call).

That being said I was expecting a slow start from the Heat due to the layoff, Shaq's uncertainty, and the Pistons D. Now we move on to Game 2. I am confident the right adjustments will be made and no way in hell will Rasheed be that on fire nor will Ben Wallace keep hitting jumpers.

he didn't "inadvertently" touch the net, he DEFINITELY grabbed onto it.

Yeah, he definitely grabbed it, and hung on. There was no bad officiating, just a good old fashioned ass-kicking. Nothing to see here, move along.

Rasheed is one of my favorite players, too bad he's such a head case or he would be mentioned with Shaq and Duncan. Van Gundy is going to have is hands full, hopefully Riley will show him a few things so he can get the job done. The officials can determine the outcome of a game by not doing their jobs effectively, I think that happened last night.

Wade is not the best guard in basketball

You've been witnessing the "Shaq effect" all season. Remember that Kobe was the next MJ too. Of course his true colors shined last night against a legitimate defense, not the Wizards.

Bad calls go both ways. It did nothing to change the outcome of the game. You're just seeing it from your favored team's POV. Of course, to me, I thought the officiating went in favor of Miami. I remember a Heat player on offense pushing off on Prince, but Prince was called for the foul, for one example, it was under the basket, late in the game. But that's all irrelevant. In the end, Detroit had control the entire game, only to ease up a bit at the end, but it was not enough for Miami.

key words: The Wizards

the Wizards can't hold a candle to the Piston's defense.

Although BJ seems to have it out against my Suns, I believe that the Heat will come back and win this series.

The Nets and Wiz were not worthy of even being in the playoffs, and wouldn't have even made it out West.

However if Shaq is 75% healthy, Wade avoids making that many mistakes again and taking that many horrific shots, and the coach realizes that playing Shaq and Zo at the sametime is a bad idea, the Heat will walk away with the series.

My pick is the Heat in 6.

LMAO.. thats why wade was quality last year too with no shaq? shaq does help but watch the games where shaq doesnt play wade still shines. Sometimes brighter when shaq isnt there

Yep they were so bad they made it into the playoffs........ Dwayne Wade is a phenominal talent. He just put up 40 on the pistons with a 60% shaq.....

MIA in 5..Diesel x Flash + Big Zo' = Championship

Damon & Eddie Jones = The X factor

Whatever these guys give them over 20+ combined is a plus in this series..Detriot can stop the big guys from MIA...Did you see Big Zo' blocking Ben Wallace last night, Detroit can't see MIA...MIA in 5..or 6 :D

You guys sure are overestimating a team that just lost its home court advantage and if it wasn't for some shitty foul shooting could be down 2-0 <_<

You all shall see

I can't bash someone who has an Ironman pic, but I think this series will go at least 6 maybe 7. Both games have been tied with 5 minutes in the 4th quarter and it is a true chess match. Game 3's adjustments will be huge. My pick:

The MIAMI FUCKING HEAT!!!!!! You are entering Wade County!!!

Detroit is gonna bounce back tonight... at least I hope so.

By the way, where are all those cry-babies now about the fouls? I guess it doesn't matter when it goes your way.

How bout that 3 fouls on one shot attempt by Billups not called? Grab him by the jersey and hit him in the mouth during the layup. Don't worry, the refs won't call it.
