[/quote] i agree wholeheartedly with your plan of action. steve smith would be as good of a WR pickup as we could expect in FA, at this point, and buy us temporary time to address the position adequately without costing us a high draft pick, which is soooo important in this year's draft. nick toon would represent just the kind of mid round investment we should be looking at in this draft. on the other hand, caldwell will never develop gonzo hands, and likely never learn how to run his solid routes. so i don't think that's a likely expectation.
