Bad 80's metal

Don't forget bands like:
Accept
Autograph
Bullet Boys
Iron Maiden
David Lee Roth
Megadeth
LA Guns
Kix
Tesla
The Cult
Tora Tora
White Lion
Whitesnake
Vixen
King's X

And if you're gonna put Extreme on there, don't you dare put on More than Words. That's one of three songs in their entire catalog that doesn't qualify as metal. I suggest anything off the first album (the only one that was actually released in the 80s) or "Play With Me" from the mall scene in Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure.

And if you're gonna include Mr. Big, same thing. Don't use that crappy "To Be With You" nonsense. Check out "Addicted to that Rush" from their first album. Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan play their axes with electric drills. Wicked awesome.

Faith No More, speaking of Bill and Ted...."crying, bleeding, lying on the floor, so you lay down on it and do it some more..."
Include some of the Dio-sung Black Sabbath ala "Heaven and Hell"...
WASP, if not already mentioned..."School Daze"
Def Leppard's "Photograph"....dah-na-na-na-na, na-na-na...
LA Guns's "Never Enough"

And that "wock and woll cwazy nights" Loudness crack made me fall outta my chair....

On guitar, Akira Takasaki!!!!!!
<<crowd roars>>

Speaking of guitar, how about Racer X?
Chris Impelliteri?
Yngwie Malmsteen?
There's plenty of bad song fodder in that fretboard masturbation scene, right there...
Yngwie's "Heaven Tonight" comes to mind....
Another fine soul understands the importance of the first track. I started my 70's-ish comp with Styx: Renegade.
...Ronnie James Dio! The Christian Lords of Metal, Stryper! Quiet Riot! JAckyl were horrible! I love it..... Wasn't there some crap band called Junkyard or something back then?

Junkyard rocked...especially their 400 lb. guitarist and their Vince Neil wannabe singer.

Old, have you been watching Metal Mania on VH1 classic again. I'm actually hooked on that show since I got the dvr. When a Europe video comes on, just fast forward to the Saxon video that's always good for a laugh.

I follow the Moskva, down to Gorky Park, listening to the winds of change...

...you're not alone, my friend.
