This is literally not what this is at all about. All of these protests are asking for the Universities to divest from being funded by companies linked to Israel. That's not an American Jewish thing, in fact, there are American Jews at these protests. When you realize that this is about the Government/Leadership of Isreal, and that even within Isreal itself before the war broke out, many were protesting Netanyahu then you might start to get it, for now you are repeating the lie you have been told to repeat. She wasn't just a young girl caught in the middle of war, she was murdered by the IDF. They we're literally sending an Ambulance to get her and her family and they were given a route to take by the IDF and they followed that path without deviation and they still killed her and her family. Nobody here disputes that Hamas is a terrorist organization doing horrible things. The point you are missing is Israel, and specifically the IDF, is not innocent. They are not merely killing Hamas, they are killing innocents, and knowingly. They are behaving like a terrorist organization themselves. What they've done is mobilize the entire region against them in the process of creating a whole new generation of orphans & widows willing to do anything for the sake of revenge. Then in a few years when one of them blows themselves up on a bus somewhere in Israel you can once again act like it was random and unprovoked while the completely disproportionate & emotional retaliation renews the cycle once again.
