ChicagoBengal
He's only played three fucking games. Point out miserable stats at the END of the season, not the BEGINNING. Plus, he has a nice big ring paid for by Bob Kraft, so it must not totally suck to be him.

Guest BengalBacker
This is just a fantasy football article, but it's another chance to laugh at Dillon. As much as you would love to be able to be patient with "your guys", the conclusion of Week 3 means that almost 25 percent of the fantasy football regular season is over. If you are 3-0 right now, you are in really good shape; 0-3 is a huge hole from which you'll need to dig yourself out. Either way, it's time to get inside the numbers to figure out if your team is really on the track it appears to be on. Corey Dillon -- If you own Dillon, 160 yards and four scores through three games looks OK. It's definitely less yardage than you'd want at this point, but the four scores are nice. Looking more closely at the yardage, though, there's trouble to be found. 2.7, 2.6, and 2.8 -- those are the yards per carry averages for Dillon in his first three games. Looking ahead, Dillon's next three games: versus San Diego, @ Atlanta, and @ Denver aren't exactly favorable match-ups. If you are trying to figure out the cause of Dillon's demise, look past the fact that he turns 31 in next month and look more towards the loss of Joe Andruzzi, who followed former Patriots defensive coordinator, Romeo Crennel, to Cleveland. Andruzzi was one of the key cogs of the Patriots running game last season and without him, the Patriots just aren't opening up the holes that Dillon saw last year. What this means to you: Dillon is set up to be one of the bigger busts of the 2005 season. It's time to cut bait if you own him, while he still retains the value of a late-first round pick. If you are looking at acquiring as a "buy-low" type, look elsewhere.
