Let's not act like Joe wasn't traded because of his crazy brother-in-law going full O Dog on some white kids with Nerf guns wasn't the reason he was traded...I don't think Hubbard will have that sort of off-the-field activities/issues. I loved Mixon and thought we should have kept him but a change of scenery was best for him.

We all know the Bengals honor their deals, no reason to think that won't change. If they let Peko play out his deal, why would they cut Hubbard? No, because when he's healthy he's their 2nd best DE, a team leader, and reps the team in the community. That matters when the Bengals are trying to get public support for a tax payer funded lease agreement on the stadium. 10 million for a starting DE isn't crazy, Hendrickson will probably make double that next season.

Bengals Free Agency 2025
And how would they actually go about any of this, trading for Myles Garrett is a lot easier said than done....same for drafting Mykel Williams

Duke Tobin Gives Blunt Response When Asked About Jermaine Burton: 'He's Done Nothing'
He wasn't the only guy who did that...that's what every player does...Tom Brady and Mahomes do it...every D lineman complains about getting held when they don't make a play...DBs complain about WRs pushing off when they give up a big play... Let's peel back the onion, what is about TJ that u don't like..are u jealous of his ponytail and movie star jawline?

Translating Duke Tobin's Comments About Crucial Cincinnati Bengals' Offseason
Agreed, it useless because only time will tell what actually gets done. They literally have to keep these guys, what is the point of drafting, coaching, and developing players if you let them leave because you're too cheap/unwilling to re-sign them. If they screw this up they will lose the trust of the players like Burrow and support of the fans. They are wasting Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and Hendrickson's prime years by not putting a capable defense and offensive line around them. What message are you sending to your players and fans...the people who actually produce and consume the product the Bengals organization provides to city of Cincinnati and the world?

They are in the business of making as much money as possible for the Brown/Blackburn family..

Duke Tobin Gives Blunt Response When Asked About Jermaine Burton: 'He's Done Nothing'
He's Tee's replacement and will be given every opportunity to do so, he's the perfect scapegoat...if he sucks the fans will blame him and his off the field problems .if he's good the fans will say how smart we are for letting Tee go. Either way the front office comes out smelling like roses.

Rankins and Cappa are the only guy I would cut. Hubbard is a leader and can play DT on passing downs. Hubbard is Mr. Cincinnati, that means something. Wilson and Pratt are going to be needed to lead this defense under Golden, they know what and why he likes to do on defense so they will be important guys to have in the building from a continuity point. Stone came on strong towards the end of the season and really seemed to be the player we thought we were getting in FA. It's easy to say cut this guy but u need to have a better alternative and if that is an unproven rookie then I would rather stick with the vet, unless they are completely washed like Cappa or not available to play like Rankins.

Paul H. Brown is the VP of Player Personnel. In his role, Paul H. Brown assists Director of Player Personnel Duke Tobin in various job responsibilities, including contract negotiations with free agents and players. His only qualification is being Paul Brown's grandson, no other franchise would employ him that position. This is the major problem with Bengals, they are ran like family business whose main objective is to make money for the family members..not put the best product on the field and win a championship. Here's an interesting article about the Brown family from 10 years ago, since that time not much has changed. https://www.cincinnatimagazine.com/sports-3/inheritance/ "PB—as everyone called him—was clearly the man in charge, but the ownership was a family affair. Mike and Pete, two of Paul’s sons, were constantly around—games, practices, coaches’ meetings—despite the fact that few players or media members knew what their actual job descriptions were. “[Mike] played no specific role that I recognized,” says Trumpy. “He was just there, and we knew he was Paul’s son. Pete: same thing. We knew he was a scout, but we didn’t know where he scouted, who he scouted. No idea.”

So BJ Hill is a scrub to fit your argument..got it. U have this misguided and delusional view that the Bengals are doing everything they can to field the best team possible and we both know that's not true, it's never been true. Not sure why you feel compelled to carry water for the Bengals front office and ownership group when the facts point to a different reality.

The Bengals need to re-sign Higgins, Chase, Hendrickson, and add more talent. Burrow was right about the window being open as long as he's playing at a high level but the org has maximize the opportunities to win it all that are available to them

Bengals defensive coordinator search: Who we are hearing as possible candidates
We have decent players, the scheme and coaching left a lot to be desired

Bengals defensive coordinator search: Who we are hearing as possible candidates
Al Golden or Aubrey Pleasant makes sense to me

Queefs lose on purpose to avoid Burrow
He does it every year, it's why his team are a mash unit come May

Jermaine Burton won’t travel with Bengals, play Week 18 due to coach’s decision
No one on the Bengals is going to whip his ass, that's his parents job, not his co-workers. He will get fired before it came to that. However, if u do believe he has an addiction to gambling then violence isn't going to solve it, addiction is a disease. You wouldn't want to whip someone's ass to cure their cancer or flu...would u? Burton is an immature young man trying to figure it out, hopefully he doesn't squander the opportunity he's Bern given.

I haven't seen Taylor this excited since they drafted Ryan "Da Pickler" Findlay aka Nasty Nelson.

Jermaine Burton won’t travel with Bengals, play Week 18 due to coach’s decision
From what I've read about Taylor he believed that the WR room had enough leadership to influence Burton to grow up and take advantage of the opportunity he was given. The reports of domestic violence are reckless without proof, if it were true u would think he would be arrested by now or in the very near future. If it's just the eviction and not anything more than there should be a path forward, Burton obviously needs to mature and make better decisions but his career isn't over. He's cheap labor at this point and all know MB loves two things: 1. Redeeming wayward, troubled youths through football 2. Talented players on rookie deals Burton checks both of those boxes

They are 4-1 since bringing in the ping pong tables

Patriots Waiving Former Pro Bowl Pass Rusher Yannick Ngakoue
He would be the 2nd best DE on the roster and it's not even close, since 2020 he has 33 sacks while all of the DEs on the active roster not named Trey Hendrickson has 14 sacks combined. I understand it's not going to happen because there's one game left, but why not if he can help the team win and I know he could.

Week 17 Die All Those Who Stand In The Bengals Way Games Thread
But he's talented enough to beat the Broncos is my point. It's not like he's a Ryan Findlay type of QB, he's played at a high level in the NFL and can do it for a game.

Week 17 Die All Those Who Stand In The Bengals Way Games Thread
Former Bengal and Bronco Samaji Perine could be huge in this game as he will get a ton of carries...let's hope he does us a solid and helps the Chiefs beat the Broncos. The Cheifs have a great chance to win this game, Wentz is a former Pro Bowler who was once a MVP candidate in Andy Reid's system in Philly.
