yup, they took the safety on purpose, to avoid a blocked punt for the TD. Balt still needs a TD to take the lead, so no harm done.

Yeah it was on purpose. There was a roughing the kicker that went uncalled and the punter was fucked up. So they took the safety rather than punt from their own goal-line.
