Talk Ohio State basketball here bitches. Already had some tough games. @ UNC, @ UF and @ Wisconsin. Got a good one coming up on Saturday aganist Tennessee. Our young guys have got some experience in and I think it will help come tournament time.

There's no doubt that they are a top-25 team, but their hype will precede them just like their football team.

I'm waiting for OSU's overhyped season to fall to shambles soon upon revelation that greg oden falsified his birth certificate and is, in fact, in his mid 30's. Why? In the games I've watched this year, Greg Oden played like a man, and his similarly-hyped help often stood around and watched, instead of contributing. They are an under-coached team at this moment.

Thad ruined Skip's team at X then left, now he is ruining the talent at OSU.

its not oden. its his teammates not having an offense to run because thad is a dipshit. MANY times oden was open vs wisconsin and they didnt feed him the ball because thad cant coach a team or an offense.

IF oden is as good as people go on and he ISNT half the player everyone thinks he is, then there should not be 1 possession that is ran without the ball touching his hands. They should force feed him and he should have at least 1 touch per possession at the minimum. They are coached bad. I could go up to OSU right now and make them 100 times better as could half this board because Thad Matta is a HORRID coach.

Team shoots from the outside wayyyyyyy to much. Kind of like Duke.

A lot of talent and athleticism. I don't see why they don't drive a little bit more...or feed oden a lot more. They need to play more team ball.

But they sure have a shit load of talent coming at them. If a couple of these guys stay around and suprise everyone..next year could def. be a nat'l championship team.

You know, we disagree adamantly about Duke (they suck ass, and I hope that their plane crashes in a muddy tobacco field somewhere), but you have hit the nail on the head here. This is what I've been trying to tell OSU fans for the past few weeks.

Duke does suck ass, this year. I know my basketball though. Im most likely going to be assistant coaching at a HS next winter and might possibly get an internship at Miami with Charlie Coles (altho i think he blows, it's an experience not to turn down).

For some reason...i don't think i would mind. Hell...he probably has more turnovers then points this year. I don't remember him being so shitty last year...but he had shelden and jj to throw to all game.

Bobby Knight is probably the best coach in the business today.

I always thought that Eddie Sutton would have been right up there, too, if not for his drinking problems
