With all that $$$$, it's likely the Bears resign Briggs, Bills the same with Clements and N.E. will be unwilling to let Samuel walk, that leaves us to battle over Adalius Thomas (30) and Dwight Freeney (27). would you take a chance Thomas and Freeney go elsewhere leaving us with nothing or cough up the cash for Justin Smith?

Bengals have never signed a top tier free agent in the history of their existence, there's nothing to indicate they will change their philosophy this upcoming season

Ashley Ambrose was a FA wasn't he? What about Lorenzo Neal? Both guys were Bengals Pro-Bowlers.

this is just my thoughts and what i have read and heard, colts will tag freney, bears tag briggs, clements will go to san fran, samual who knows, san fran will also be hot on thomas since they are over 50 mil under the cap.

personally i would much rather have samual than thomas, thomas is 30 and will be looking for his last big deal, i just am affraid that we would pay him big bucks and his knees go out in 2 yrs and we get killed on the back end of the cap when we could get one of the top 3 db's in the league who is going into his prime

:ninja:[/quote]

no disrespect WDF but are you being serious about taking Ginn with our first pick? If so... do you even watch Bengals football? not a personal attack... just curious

If he was there at 18, then yes I would want us to take him but if we don't then I would be ok. As long as we can get Okoye or Willis

DE/DT Corey Redding 6'4", 290 from the Lions to replace Bryan Robinson. Redding is only 26 and had 8 sacks playing the under tackle last year. Came into the NFL as a DE.

I see where you are coming from, but neither were "top tier" before they signed in Cincy. Well, maybe Neil, but Fullbacks sort of fall under the same blanket as kickers, punters, and long snappers in terms of free agency lingo. If I'm interpreting Storm correctly, I agree with his assesment.
