Domain name investing, adsense, SEO

Just wanted to see if anyone was big into domain names, blogging, adsense, and all those little ways to make money online. I have started a few months ago and I am making a little bit off of parked pages but still learning. Anyone out there with any tips?

I do this. Pick one site you really enjoy and build it. It will be far more profitable for you than a bunch of little sites with very little put into it.

I built one site and spent a lot of time on it and in less than a year I made $2500 from adsense then I turned around and sold the site for $3500. For a year of building I made $5000 from the site.

i tend to agree, i agree with rizzy also, i was making a few hundred bucks a month on adsense before i got booted. bastards. owning 25 domains and hoping for traffic seems like it woudlnt bring much cash. getting better targeted ads to a better target market will earn some cash.

Yeah...it seems like working with a couple of sites (one is more then enough headache) and focus onthem is much more profitable. I have a local for sale by owner site, that I just put my own rentals on, and that has generated a little bit of adsense revenue. It seems the best days have already past in buying/selling domain names.

Why did Google boot you from using adsense?

I agree with that statement 1000% just for a different reason.
This kinda shit and the rest of the domain pirates out there make it extremely fucking difficult to operate legitimate online business. I've had to get 3 separate ICAAN judgements over domain pirates for our business, which is an expensive fucking nightmare of hoops to jump thru... There are a couple domains that I've been after for legitimate purposes but are pirated by assholes in South Korea wanted gobs of cash. It's bullshit. The buying of domains for resale purposes should be outlawed by the government.
