Jeb
[quote name='scharm' timestamp='1284346272' post='918165'] O-line did not force them out of their game plan. It's football. Our team could not stop the bleeding early on the road to a very good team. It's that simple. Not that I blame Brat or Carson completely for the loss. Drives 2-5 were critical to stopping the bleeding and the offense didn't make the plays and in some cases created negative situations. You got to convert 3rds, not take a loss and turn it into a fumble, and not turn a decent drive into a TD for the other team. I still don't think our defense stops them and IMO the D is simply the biggest disappointment from that game. Frying up the OC or O-line just seems so Lance McAllister call in show at this point. Defense just was out matched.
sois
Yes Trade for Mankins. He is a piece that can be had. You might not have to pay him next season and the draft pick will be either wasted on a player that can't play next season or will be a pick in two seasons. A lockout = Bengals have to win NOW. Get him, he is available!
