AmishBengalFan
So, essentially, OU has more guys to watch who won't get drafted (10) than Troy (4), even though Troy seems to have the only notable draft-worthy player (Jernigan, late 2nd/early 3rd)? I know a bunch of folks love themselves some college football, but with 100+ programs with 70-80 players, 1/5th of whom are in their final season, you're looking at roughly 1500 draft-eligible kids. 256 get drafted, half of them don't make it out of camp, and half that do never see a pro game except as a spectator. That's comes to approximately 0.6 players per college team that are good enough to actually get paid for it. But in spite of the lack of skilled play, at least there's an honest, open, well-defined championship system in place, so at least the games are meaningful. Bengals1181
At least Troy has a history of sending DE's to the NFL. They have 3 current, demarcus ware, osi umenyiora, and brandon lang (who broke most of the formers records). They also tend to have speed at the WR position.
