oldschooler
Andy Dalton visited a specialist Monday to make sure he didn't have any small broken bones in his right (throwing) forearm. The Bengals believe Dalton just has a mere forearm contusion, but they want to make sure. Per the Cincinnati Enquirer, the rookie will start in Week 2 barring an unforeseen setback. We'll know for sure about that if Dalton is able to practice on Wednesday. Dalton was knocked from the Bengals’ season-opening victory over the Browns during the second half and didn’t return. The X-rays conducted Sunday were normal, and other tests showed no serious injury, but the ailment could limit Dalton’s ability to practice early this week. For a rookie quarterback who already missed offseason workouts because of the lockout, that would be significant. Dalton said he’s hopeful of playing Sunday, but it’s hardly out of the question that Bruce Gradkowski, who led the Bengals to the comeback victory, will end up starting in Week 2. Jeb
Didn't Marvin say, ..."everybody's feeling better", ...when asked about team injuries? I call BS on this article.

I call BS on this article.
He says "but could limit Dalton's ability to practice." And then says "hardly out of the question". In other words, speculation. The Bengals were off today. And don't start practicing til tomorrow.
