WRAPradio
This is pretty bad. Almost 90% of Mixon's yards are after contact. Are we even trying to block anyone?
Le Tigre
I have said forever, that run blocking is much more scheme than ability. The scheme here seems to always be straight ahead blocking rather than area or zone. With the skill sets of the present linemen, the scheme would be better served to a zone scheme. Fred: you know this stuff pretty well, what say you?
|High School Harry|
I saw that a same pic and graphic and was going to post it but couldn't get it to copy and paste. Someone in one of the threads (one of the good guys) said something about Joe Mix going down with the first contact and I did not agree. One of the fantasy football threads had him listed as a breakout player this week vs Pittsburgh. Would be nice. You watch every week and just KNOW its going to happen sooner or later.
