So that explains the sudden decline.   Tore his hamstring in training camp but didn't want to miss the season.

 

It does not explain why they keep playing him like everything is fine.  At some point you'd expect the HC to be the grown up and tell him he can get it done or not, but they're not going to keep running him out there on one good leg.  More so now that the season is cooked anyway.  If they're not going to cut him they may as well get him rehabbing ASAP.

Was it? Noticed there's still a lot of "what's wrong with Sam?" floating around.  I guess early on we still thought this was all some kind of fluke
