The commentators had just finished mentioning that OSU had only lost 5 fumbles all year and then that! 1 Quote

He's going on that area and QB Carson Beck has transfered there Ohio St has stat d they'll retain him. Im thinking 6 plus mil per. 1 Quote

I find it mind boggling that a college WR can make more money in college than a mid-level or practice squad NFL WR. I know Jeremiah Smith can't declare for the draft for 2 more years, but this is ridiculous. If he gets hurt, is OSU still obligated to pay him, or do you buy insurance on him for that issue? I'm not crazy about paying student athletes or this NIL stuff anyway, and this is just payment on steroids especially since OSU is reporting a $37,000,000 deficit in the athletic budget. It used to be that football and basketball funded all of the other sports (supposedly). If this deficit is true, what happens to the other sports (some of which are nationally ranked in their own right, like synchronized swimming, or pistol)? 1 Quote

Do you have a chart on what athletics OSU is losing money on? I'm sure football carries most sports and basketball Is in the black as well.. Quote

-GoBengals- Posted February 2 Report Posted February 2 the new College funding limits and NIL potential changes are going to be interesting.. Andrew Brandt did a great podcast on it a week or two ago. teams can pay from their pocket a limit of 23mil (give or take) a year, thats for ALL sports. so all of the real money must come from NIL. and there are some changes coming to that depending how congress handles that. 1 Quote
