Chucktkd
Ray Rice took nearly every snap one practice because four running backs were sidelined. Chad Slaughter suited up as the starting left tackle about 12 hours after being signed because three linemen were banged up. And Kelly Talavou, who is on his third team in a year, lined up in front of Ray Lewis because three defensive tackles went down. More than a quarter of the Ravens' roster - 21 players - has missed at least one practice because of injury, underscoring the biggest difference from Brian Billick's training camp to the one being run by John Harbaugh this year. Ending their second week of "Camp Hardball," the players are hurting, frustrated and tired. The irony is that for the last few years Billick was criticized for running "Camp Creampuff."

akiliMVP
Sorry guys but you obviously haven't been reading the experts predictions of the season. The Ravens are going to win 7 games and we are only going to win 4. Even though they have no QB, O-line, WR or CB.

turningpoint
what's even more pathetic is IMO they're an even older and worse team then last year, and our defense absolutely manhandled their offense last year.

Inigo Montoya
A new blurb from PFT:
Ravens running back Willis McGahee, whose left knee blown apart during the National Championship game back in the days when Maurice Clarett was still relevant, might miss the team’s preseason opener due to fluid in the knee. “Right now, we need to get the fluid out of his knee and get that thing settled down a little bit,†coach John Harbaugh said. Rookie Ray Rice could get the start in his first NFL game as the Ravens face the Patriots in a meaningless preseason rematch of one of the best meaningless regular-season games from the 2007 season.
http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/08/03/...eseason-opener/
Rumble In the Jungle
i will say though, had their D-Coordinator not call that time out last year against the Patriots, they would be the only team to beat the Patriots in a regular season game.
