  1. I think this is probably an incomplete picture of what happened. Yes - we have done enough...rehashing.

  2. Add Arkansas Bengal to the list of those gang trolled off. He posted on another board that he left because someone called him a racist. Sorry for putting words into his keyboard but the group ragging does get tiresome. I've been touched up but ignored it and did not take the bait which is what it is. That gets into Mark Twain quote territory about wrestling with a pig. Both get dirty but the pig enjoys it. Makes one wonder who the real troll is. Not trying to start a witch hunt or finger pointing fest, but just sayin' shit gets old. Comment on the post, not the poster.

  4. Who is the troll? If you say membengal because he wrote Big Mad, meh that is like a 1 on a scale of 10 here. Team Weed vs Team Eeyore was way worse than that and that wasn’t bad. Dalton lovers vs Haters circa 2014-15 was WAY worse.

  5. Nuance is another word for “make what is said fit anywhere”. T-Dub departed because of the collective groupthink badgering him over the potential Sewell drafting…once Chase became the Holy Child. It never abated, and did become “attacking the poster”—or was it “nuance”? Because I know Tibor personally—and because I know his Bengal fandom to be every bit as real as any ad infinitum rants to the contrary—I also know that groupthink will not drive him away. What did Mike Tyson once say: “ If you don’t like what I’m saying, turn off your station”?

  7. They just need to be careful to not get overly "juiced" (again, like Ralph):

  8. That is semantics, Taylor was annouced as HC on 01/20/19 and Pollack left on th 01/15/19. I'm positive Taylor had communicated what coaches he wanted to keep and which ones he wanted to replace when he was hired as the head coach. Taylor wanted his own guys at certain positions and Pollack saw the writing on the wall so he quit before he was fired. Paul Dehner's tweet that is embedded in article confirms as much. https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/2019/01/15/frank-pollack-out-bengals-offensive-line-coach/ It's no coincedence that Pollack left after seeing his fellow coaches get fired and knowing that Taylor wanted to hire Turner for OL coach.

  11. I'll do as I please thank you. No, Scharm is of the same Ilk as T-Dubb, a fine poster when he isn't shitposting. I honestly do not understand how you don't see the difference here. I have no quarrel with you either I just would prefer this board be productive in their discussions of various topics rather than having one or two guys bring everything to a griding halt. It's much more fun to have friendly disagreements about the direction of this team rather than having to read "OMG WTFBBQ THIS TEAM SUCKS BECUSAE THEY DIDNT DRAFT THE GUY I FELL IN LOVE WITH!!!!!!11111eleven" or "LOLZ POINT AND LAUGH AT THAT GUY FUCKING UP OUR CHANCE AT EVER BEING A WINNING FRANCHISE....LOLZZZZZZZZ" That stuff really has nothing to offer of any value.

  12. We have lost posters because the team has sucked. It always happens. It gets old having the same conversation every year: Do you think we can actually make the playoffs? Do you think we can win a playoff game? Fucking Cleveland won a playoff game last year against the Steelers. When was our last great moment?

  13. Please. Just mute the guy if he bothers you so much. All he has done is rip Mike Brown in this thread. That is totally warranted. The guy has earned it. Somehow ripping Mike Brown is no longer OK? Is this a discussion board or just for those who look at things in the same way? Not going to be much discussion.

  14. If Burrow is an all-time great, maybe we have done enough. That's what it takes to overcome the hurdles of a team headed by one of the worst owners/GMs in American sports history. He is that horrible and awful. Not good enough for Burrow to be very good like Dullton and Plamer were at times. He has to be Mahomes/Brady level. Not sure if being as good as Brees is good enough. Mike Brown is the epitome of the idea that 90% of success may depend upon who your parents were. Because he has accomplished nothing in his life and is still a millionaire and the owner of a major sports team.
