1. Love that the three new Oline free agents seem to be having great fun doing the Who Dey chant.
2. Liberalism Is Not the Opposite of Conservatism
3. Got your email, Jamie and came right over. Onyx was a good contributor to this board and I'm feeling for his family right now. And you, too. And if anyone from the Bengals team/organization reads this board, just a gentle reminder. We fans invest a lot of our hopes and dreams in your success. I know it's just a game, but please find a way to show a tribute to Onyx and the many other fans whose families have been tragically touched by this plague.
4. Cogent review of Jack Ross' "The Socialist Party of America: A Complete History" from The American Conservative.
5. What a member of the Communist League of Tampa thinks in the context of the Sanders campaign. Actually his historical analysis is pretty good, but I think he goes off the rails a bit when he gets to "real socialism." Not that his elucidation is mistaken, it's just delusional as is the case with the hardest core of remaining pinkos in this country.
6. I stopped looking at that thread a while ago. What did he do, cross the line from doofus to churl? Not related, but this new theme blows. Why the opacity so I can faintly see the bg image, for example? Is the goal to make it harder to read what's in the foreground?

12. CLASS: DOUBLE SUPER SECRET Kentucky Association of Big Old Operative Muzzleloaders Memorandum From: Cellum Goode, V.P Foreign Sales To: Gray N. Powder, President Subj: Front Company Research Sir; As you can see here, our WMD program moves apace. Our front for this work is cleverly designed, and is successfully promulgating experiments. Emission tests are proceeding well. I believe that our Weapons of Moo Destruction may yet have a critical role in Operation Tundra Blizzard.

Powder, President To: Cellum Goode, V.P Foreign Sales Subj: Operation Tundra Blizzard Recent developments around the Greenland crisis present an opportunity for KABOOM to improve market penetration into this growth industry: Military-Industrial Complex (SIC: 4T-YRS-D-Kline). Please form a tasking committee to pursue the following. Goals 1) Loss-leader offers to encourage protracted business with all sides of the conflict. 2) Specialized and ongoing consultations to all parties emphasizing sympathetic concern for their cause. We, of course, are neutral in this conflict insofar as cash-flow is concerned, but precautions ought to be taken to preclude disclosure to clients with regard to other contacts. Recommendations: The committee is to report their findings ASAP. Concurrent deployments of personnel pending further analysis should be: 1) Bjork (Granny) Smith to Denmark. Her ethic background and sales acumen ought to bear fruit. Password: ABBA-dabba-do. 2) Contact Possum Lodge and hire Harold Green. The women don't find him handsome, but they do think he is handy. He is our Canadian pointman. 3) Send a representative up Nightcrawler Hollow to inform Jim Bond that his services are required on the ground in Greenland. He is to establish contact with Al-Ansar Greenland and explore assymetrical means of collaboration. Pending a more detailed plan, that's all for now.
14. BJ and 22; Next time you feel like reading some fiction, stop by the library and get a book by Joseph Boyden titled "Three Day Road." Not Inuit, but I think you'll like it. It's got the culture clash thing going and it's handled well well by Boyden. Wish I could write like that.
