  1. i do not want to read about star wars, what is the take?
  2. yea i can get on board with the penalties being retarded, got fucked on a few defensively, but still too many on both sides. fucked some 3rd downs, gave up free first downs. been crippling at times.

Hilton is having his worst graded season so far of his career.
  4. volson is the worst player on the entire team. worse than the shitty punter and worse, somehow, than nick scott. this is partially off topic but im still mad about it
  5. is it a sophomore slump if you fucking sucked your freshman year too? he was too weak and getting thrown to the ground (literally 5 times a game) last year, i had high hopes of at least mediocre play with all the talk of how strong her got in the offseason. well he is mostly staying on his feet but he is getting pushed around like he's joe mixon blocking in there. (joe mixon sucks ass at blocking too) third years the charm? Volson out here recording 0.0 blocking ratings and shit.
  6. man 15 years ago wendys was the bomb, i worked at once when i was 16. i also worked at a skyline in kings island, when it rained in the water park as i worked there at the snack stands, because you know... bikinis.. but rain days got sent to skyline or the octoberfest house. hated that place. smelled like rotten shit. its a pizza place, has other italian like dishes too, pretty straight forward. larosas is a local shop, i LOVE angilos, but since i left its gone from like 20 locations to like 5. and they are all in shit areas not near where im staying.. and my kid hates it and kis always win. well then i ate at that one, lol. i love the hot fudge cake, sadly i earned type 2 diabeties earlier this year so not many of those in my future after eating a few big boys. i used to love the frischs at tri county, tore it down for a mcdonalds. rudist shit i ever seen i have eatin there many many times. a client of mine has a store across the street, so when id hit that area id go see them, and then hit frischs is it based on the QB being healthy and being able to run the offense? because no one here believes that either an wants to blame coaches, so honestly its as good of a theory as any for this crowd.
  7. becuase there arent good backup QB's, and the best of the shit bunch dont want to be in a spot behind joe burrow, which is why allen left. of course you fucking can. there arent 32 good QBs in the nfl. but there are some great backup QBs out there? and these imaginary great backup QB's are dying to sign up and sit with no chance to play aside from injury behind a great QB, when they could go sit behind a shit QB or a young one about to fail for the 2nd or 3rd year and maybe get a shot? in what world cant both things be true? its not "both ways" its THE way... there isnt a single position in the nfl that has 32 good starters in it. there bad kickers, punters, corners, every linemen, every defensive player, etc. but someonehow, because some dudes on the internet say the phrase "just go get a better one, grab a vet" its ar eal thing and can happen?!?!?!??! explain it.. first twll me: 1. why there is this magical pocket of backup QB's, really good cheap linemen, etc we can just go sign everytime someone says we should do it? why arent they on rosters? 2. tell me why on EARTH, any qb worth a damn, isnt looking for the best possible place to PLAY vs sitting behind a known locked in long term starter (not to mention in a crap city like cincinnati, if they dont want to play, they are picking a bettter place to live) 3. if Mccarron was with us the entire offseason, was 100% up on the playbook, had 500-1000 reps with the guys during camp and drills, he could potentially be a better option to have started some of these games, but thats no where near the case, possibly after the bye he will have been able to get close to that point, but tell me how throwing a guy who essentially has NEVER played nfl football, i dont really count trash time reps, into a stressful situation of MUST WIN, would be much of a plan for success, as the offense would STILL have to change, due to some plays just being possible by joe burrow being incredible. so to circle back, we grabbed trevor hoping he would be the vet backup we needed, he knew the offense learned it and ran it in camp and preseason, sadly he fucking sucked. and sadly thats the point of it being too late, the learning has ended at the end of preseason, its 100% prep time based on the offensive knowledge. so bringing in ANYONE after preseason is just them in the same spot as AJ is now, i think it was LAP who did a breakdown of it, said install is in mini camp and early camp, by the time preseason games come around the offense is in place but still being fine tuned and can be learned some then, once preseason is over everyone knows the offense like the back of their hand and every second is spent gameplanning and installing that weeks gameplan and the reps are run for those plays, that everyone already knows, so for a QB to come in and learning all of the terminology, plays, variations, blitx alterations, etc, is really hard because no one is available to really sit and teach, theyll obviously make some extra time, but everyone else learned it over 6-7 weeks, there is no chance a guy can come in and learn it and play in a couple weeks essentially getting after school tutoring to learn it all. 4. what BOTH ways? explain your claim here. clearly there arent a gang of good backups in existance let alone on the market, and clearly playing a never palyed before backup isnt usually a recipe for success, right? so whats the BOTH ways? because both of those are true.
  8. local grocery store in denver is owned by kroger so they sell canned skyline here, so thats our option, i also prefer larosas to donatos, my oldet son has a larosas t shirt he likes it so much, we have done the dry ice shipments of 10-20 pizzas from larosas here but the altitude makes them cook weird. i ate at a larosas in columbus year or so ago after ohio state oregon game, there arent many up there. my son and i like frischs and larosas a ton so we kinda just trade off eating at those spots every day we are there, which is usually only 2-3 max for sports games. havent been since the ravens playoff game last year though. both itching to get out there
  9. lol, much prefer skyline, only thing goldstar is good for is garlic bread and i like their chili cheese fries better i think the last time i had goldstar was 2004
  10. Watching the dallas/AZ game now. first drive Dobbs ran for 50 on an option play. still had to settle for a fg they his nice mid range passes when they bring a WR alllll the way across a zone and he is WIDE open, Conner is running wild dallas ran up the middle twice, then got a false start followed by delay of game on 3rd down. dobbs just keeps running so far. and conner cards love running the ball when going for 2. 0/2 made the extra point, penalty, took the points off the board went for 2.. lost the point. imagine if zac did that? yall would have TWO torches each. dallas keeps fucking themselves, having 3rd and 16 2nd and 17, etc dak prescott sucks in 5 qtrs i have seen dobbs make 3 true good accurate NFL level passes. Cards put WR in backfield and he ran untouched up the middle for a TD.... cards 0/3 going for 2 now in these two games. cowboys line still supposed to be good or does cards pass rush suck? cards ran for 222 yards, jesus, that could be frustrating, that the exception or is 49ers defense stopping them the exception? prater hit a 62 yard FG before the half. cardinals only scored 7 points in second half but no reason to risk anything since cowboys didnt get much closer. cowboys only scored 6. yikes.
  11. So i just went and watched the Cardinals and 49ers game. too lazy to scroll up and see where someone said it was closer than the score or whatever. or that the cards played well or tough. they got their ass kicked. hard. dobbs missed a bunch of guys open down field, dobbs is playing safe QB, fast short passes, no time for a pass rush to get to him. he is doing a decent amount of roll outs to cut the field him half (done a ton in college and with rookies, roll out, eliminates looking at anything the defense is doing on the other half, buys time and gives simple options and can run for a couple yards if its not there) Their run game did well, pass game was nothing but a bunch of dumps short, and the one where they got hollywood brown on a lineback come all the way across the zone. they didnt score for the last 20 minutes of the game. maybe all of this is because the 49ers are incredibly good, but they werent too impressive in any aspect of their game. i wont rip their defense cause CMC is ripping everyone.
  12. why not? if he wasnt going to do anything (like scramble) to risk injuring the calf, and if one of the things the entire offense needs from him to the o-line, etc is reps, game reps and looks, there is SOME value to being out there, and there is no more risk than any other point. you just play. had we got the ball back with 1-2 minutes left id assume he would now ahve come back or would have just run the ball maybe, as risk vs backup or scrubs may increase (like why most teams dont play starters in preseason, some 3rd stringer taking a bad angle and taking out orlando browns ACL or something) joe cound tear his ACL on the first play sunday, and it would probably have zero to do with his calf. all these "teams who start X and Y never make the playoffs" are worthless, there are more games and more spots now. 5, five, cinco, teams made the playoffs last year at 9-8 or worse records (one was a shitty division winner but im sticking with it) so whats that 13% of the nfl made the playoffs with a barely over .500 record. we are 1-3, thats 8-5 finish to the season to maybe sneak into the playoffs. there is ZERO question that joe gives us the best chance to win (no matter how shitty that chance may be) and if thats the case (it is) then if he can go, he should, if we can win one of the next two games, we just need to finish 7-4 with, ideally, a healthy burrow post bye week. this feels like a logical goal at the moment, to me. id love to win the next two cause we getting mopped by the 49ers unless CMC goes down.
  13. maybe just my perspective, i ran a record label of my own and managed another 500 years ago, and when talk of "get" so and so on a song or get them to do a show, it was unquestioned it would be to pay them to do so, so thats probably just 100% on me and my dumb old brain, so my bad on that one. i guess if youre drake you dont much care if you miss or cancel shows, youre worth 250mil and eahcshow is making you several more, so if you made like 10 mil tuesday and thursday who cares if you skip saturday, lol. whats the reasoning he is giving for the columbus and nashville cancellations? denver he said the stage crew messed up and there was no way to get the stage setup in time for the show. which seems like bullshit, there was a gap in shows and was coming from nearby (kc or st lous or something) and i saw his stage there is no way it would be more than a 8-12 hr setup. so who knows. ill gladly take my $1,081 back at anytime. offtopic, man i took some fucking L's when i was sick, had tickets to a bunch of comedy shows and 2 concerts, comedy shows were at comedy clubs so cant resell at all, and concerts i had some VIP pack that gets you free merchandise and posters and stuff, picked up AT THE SHOW, and AXS tickets doesnt let you sell below face value, but the face value was including the merch, and new buyer cant pickup the merch, so like tickets were $100 and vip crap was $150 so $250 each, no one was gonna pay $500 for a pair of $100 tickets. so i got hooooooosed big time. BUT i am alive.. so ill deal with it. ticket company rules fuck consumers so hard, its truly criminal.
  14. yes, they are a better team. to try to win. anyone saying any season can be a wash 4 games in is wasting everyones time. if anything youre proving why he should play. unless you pretending jake browning playing nfl qb for the first time ever is somehow a good idea. they arent going to risk his ability to play long term, why are you making stuff up, how is he at risk of that? wtf are you talking about, and why are you making up dramatic things with absolutely no realistic logic behind them? being a QB has the same risks, in the pocket there is danger, out of the pocket mobile as can be there is danger, ask Pickett. Football is danger. wut yall just sit at home and make up scenarios in your heads to you can claim angles and biasses online dont you? medical staff, ownership, doctors, joe and zac are all involved. kinda torn what to think about Dobbs mediocre success so far, there ia the obvious, no qb, no film, can still show new looks and plays vs defenses, but with every week comes less of that. ill probably go watch the last two games they played in the condensed film on nfl app and see what they are doing. their WRs and TE shouldnt scare anyone. so it feels like its just new look stuff thats working, or perhaps a bunch of teams overlooking them each week as well. hope all is well on the personal side. and i know what you mean with the team not helping, its a purgatory waiting game for health and consistency and defensive maturity. which has been painful. but there is no successful alternative to handling the situation, we have NOTHING at backup QB, NOTHING, people need to stop pretending jake browning making nfl debuts is even pretend successful, and AJ cant learn the office mid season like you can during install weeks in the offseason, after the bye he could play. ... was someone pretending the top 3 QB in the league wasnt carrying the team? who? he was saying some pretty foul stuff about you after the presser too. tbh.
  15. so literally none of you understand that joe is hurt, so the offense is changed and has then also had to change weekly. none of you? its suddenly magically coaching and this and that? i mean half of you think you can go in at halftime and draw up new plays for the second half so i dont know why im surprised but cmon... sometimes there are just reasons for shit. joe is fucked up and thus the offense has had to be altered each week in planning, so no consistency, limited routes due to limited mobility, and teams have a lot less to worry about and defend. its really that simple. thats it. thats the end. this is the nfl, you cant be at 90% and expect tons of success unless the defense is playing like top 5(which it isnt, at all).
  16. we tried, whole lot of 1-2 yard gains on first or second down leaving us in long yardage situations, a few long breaks outs made the stats good in the end, but for regular use we started getting stuffed more than not. nothing has changed in what pay he will get so i doubt it. holy 2002. exactly. everyone knows he is a killer. everyone gm on the planet is gonna go "yea that offense was fucked with joe hurt, Tee is a monster, pay him"
  17. distance wise, but his lack of hang time led to lengthy returns, which really just makes the long punt worthless and risks a return for a score. that one in the goalline was almost perfect, clearly the rankiing dont take int account returns or results, he placed it perfectly but it ended up a net shit punt since it was a touchback. placement was great on it..
  18. yea not really anything else he can say there. "nah not really, obviously, but like, jake browning? c'mon" probably wouldnt be the right reply.
  19. lol why cant it just ever be the obvious. why is the entire fanbase of 50 year old men always grabbing pitchforks and torches like living tik tok reaction videos. is it... maybe... MAYBE... 1. The best player on the team is hurt 2. Due to that the offense has had to chance theme and plan every single week. 3. we have, again, faced some super talented front pass rushes to start the season and the two things above made that a bit more impactful. 4. we have several young players and our best corner returning from season ending injury on defense which has led to some clear miscommunications or mistakes. and with football being a game of consistency and reps on offense which has been impossible to have, and a game on inches as they say, any hiccup in the secondary can and has led to big plays. thats it. there are two teams in the league good enough to go to the superbowl, and we were it one of the last two years. there are 4 teams good enough to make it to the conference finals, and we have been it 2 of the last 2 years. but people want to bark about coaches and playcalls. its so fucking lazy and predictable. people in here bitching about staff members who they dont even know what they do as their job on the team.
  20. lol children. cmon man. lots of 10 yr olds sitting down watching the superbowl and not on a video game or ipad or phone? aint no children watching the superbowl or the halftime show, none. is that a common thing? he def cancelled the day before his denver show, my kid was gonna take some chick. they still holding my money like he is gonna reschedule. but they dont "get" people to do it, its not paid, so they are begging people to come do it for promo alone. he has like 5 platinum albums and sold like 15-20 million albums also. but most importantly, he has an album coming out the week of the superbowl. so there is his motivation.
