I wonder if Yoshi makes them consider not wanting to pay Higgins long term. He obviously isn't as good but he does some very good things and you could play Higgins this year and then franchise him.

I bet they run with Simien on the roster and Browning on the PS. They did kick the tires on both Aiden O'Connell (4th for Raiders) and Dorian Thompson-Robinson (5th for Browns). Both have looked good in the preseason. I have never been a proponent of drafting a QB because I think they don't provide much early and we want a veteran who can start and win games. Those 2, and recent success by rookies, shows that's probably wrong. But we would have to trade for him 8-Matt Corrall is a really interesting guy. Going into his 2nd year. He would have 3 more years under a reasonable contract. He won't be a part of anything in Carolina with Young and Dalton there.
