  1. No more laughable than you praising him. There has to be a reason for why the team hasn't put a guy this talented in the game. He looks good with the ball in his hands. Maybe the problem is when the ball isn't in his hands?
  2. Dog house for talented players usually means they can’t trust him to do what he is supposed to do. The “front office and coaches don’t like him” stuff sounds like a bunch of youth sports parents, and those parents never get it anyway.
  3. If that's the measurement I go with Forrest Gregg. That guy had tons of respect. I'd run through a wall for him. Wyche was a good guy and a brilliant offensive mind, but he tore the team apart with his off the field shenanigans. Wyche had a moment, but then blew it up himself.
  4. Fastest HC to take an expansion team to the playoffs in an era where you were given NOTHING to start with. Went to the playoffs 3 times in 8 years. No wins. Tough road against the emerging Squealers juggernaught in the mid 70s. Incredible coaching tree. One of the best coaches of all time. He didn't always have the horses, but got a lot out of what he had. Wyche could have been the next Bill Walsh, but couldn't keep his mouth shut. He tore down as many Bengals teams as he built up.
  5. It has been downright awful. Two guys, Williams and Volson, are the only guys who even play in over 12 years of drafting OL. That's too many to be just luck.
  6. The counter to your arguement is recency bias. I agree with your last statement though, except there should be a minimum percentage of votes to get in. Not everyone on that list should be in the ring.
  7. We are probably overthinking it. It's probably about up front money. The Bengals know they are going to have to pay it, but how much is likely the issue.
  8. Yeah, they need the body, but it sounds like he is still the same old disappointment.
  9. Other than TJ still likes making everything about himself...
  10. There is nothing I hate more than bigotry and hatred. I just can't abide it. That, and furries. (much respect to James Gregory)
  11. Hmmm...makes me wonder if Ossai has hand or wrist issues the way he finishes that clean.
  12. My point is a lot of people judged Jones, myself included, based upon his behavior as a young man. None of us really knew what was going on. We really don't now either, but what he is doing with Perry's kids is admirable. This has nothing to do with what any of them do on the field. Love 'em or hate 'em on the field, what kind of person they are is impossible to judge. the media wants a story and will pump out all kinds of positive and negative stuff. The truth isn't necessary.
  13. +1 This is just silly. I don't understand how any of us think we actually know these guys. How in the world do you know OBJ or Brady are bad people? You don't. You don't even know that Joe Burrow is a good guy. Seems to be, but you really don't know. The guy you think is scum ends up being a stand up guy. See Adam Jones.
  14. Oh, 100%. The league protects the league. It's the PA that has to protect the players. The PA should address things like this for the next CBA.
  15. If no one was saying anything and now Florio stirs the pot so the league has to take action...what a dick.
  16. Well, I stay the hell away from Facebook and don't watch videos on YouTube, so I'm good.
