So, I spent earlier today doing some yard clean up. I was wearing my ancient Bengals sweat pants and working in the alley next to my house when a young lady pulled up next to me and said she loved my pants. I told her they were like 35 years old. She commented that they would be popular now and looked retro. I told her I had an equally old quilted jacket to go with them. She became a Bengals fan when she went to UC and lived in Cincy for 10 years. We exchanged WHO-DEYs and she went on her way. The pants are probably older than her. 😂
In the meantime, I just watched CJ Stroud drive 75 yards for a touchdown in 40 seconds and in the process, break the all time record for most passing yards by a rookie in a game with 470. I don’t think that Texans game is going to be easy next week.
He goes up against Tee Higgins in practice every day. Tee is what- 6'5"?
Going up against Chase and Higgins in practice every day can only help all of the youth in the secondary-not just Turner.
I was surprised to see East in the playoffs until I looked at their record and I learned they expanded the playoffs. And yet, they managed to lose to my pathetic Whetstone Braves. 😂
I don't know who is up for contract negotiations in the next couple of years on the Browns, but they don't have any really big names other than Myles Garrett and Nick Chubb that they may need to try to re-sign so they may be able to absorb it as long as they don't go after any big name free agent cornerbacks or wide receivers.
I've said all along that Watson is not the savior of this franchise.
"Johnson was able to ascend to the speakership because “he has the fewest enemies,” said Rep. Ken Buck, a Colorado Republican, on CNN."
Sounds like he's qualified to me. 🙄
Too little, too late, but I admire Irsay for calling it out.
Wonder if he'll get fined for disclosing this? This type of discussions are not supposed to be aired out.
