I watched the Browns-Rams game (well, I was in the room crocheting 🧶 while the game was on) and Flacco didn’t look half bad for his first start. Better than PJ Walker and DTR. Incidentally, the Browns have the worst turnover average in the league. They average 2.1 turnovers per game. That normally does not translate to a winning record.

I’m guessing most of the VC Andrews catalogue is banned if “Flowers in the Attic” is banned. This book had just come out my senior year in high school. I attended a Catholic, all girl high school and I got in trouble for writing a book review for our school paper about it. In the words of the administration, “It wasn’t appropriate reading for young ladies.” Never mind that EVERYONE was either reading it, had read it, or was waiting to read it. So even in 1980, it was controversial. I bought the next book in the series and my mom threw it in the trash.
