Paul Brown Stadium Naming Rights Sold To Hamilton County Sheriff
Cincinnati, OH....June 4, 2006

Bowing to pressure from large market teams to increase his revenue, Bengals owner Mike Brown announced that the naming rights to Paul Brown Stadium have been sold to Hamilton County Sheriff Simon Leis. The stadium will be renamed "The Big House" in reference to the number of Bengals players who will be wearing prison stripes this upcoming season.

Said team owner Mike Brown, "We have decided to capitalize on our team's new-found reputation for lawlessness. The kiddie area has been renamed 'The A.J. Nicholson 5-Finger Discount Home Electronics Pavillion'. The team's home uniforms will now be orange jumpsuits. Chris Henry will give gun-brandishing and drunk-driving tips during TV timeouts. We've even brought back Reggie Rembert and Tremain Mack for an old-timer's game."

Simon Leis was even more enthusiastic about the arrangement: "We are projecting that by the time Marvin Lewis is finished as head coach of the Bengals, the entire Hamilton County Justice Center will be filled to capacity with Bengal players. Mike Brown has agreed to setup cots in the locker room to house the overflow at no additional cost to the taxpayers."
HENRY COMPLETES THE TURD TRIFECTA

Bengals receiver Chris Henry has been arrested for the third time in less than six months.

On June 3, Henry was busted in Ohio for driving under the influence. He also was cited for driving 82 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone.

The story was first reported by NFL Sirius Radio. ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli later reported that Henry's blood alcohol concentration was 0.092 percent, which exceeds the Ohio legal limit by 0.012 percent.

"Mr. Henry agreed to the test and he was polite, courteous and cooperative the entire time," Sgt. Kevin Long of the Ohio Highway Patrol told Pasquarelli. "He was issued a traffic citation and he [eventually] left with a friend. There was no bail involved and he was issued a court date."

Several readers sent us a link to a portion of the police file. Per the link, Henry was driving a vehicle manufactured in 1984, only one year after he was born.

Anyone who frequents this site on a regular basis knows what he think of Henry. The former West Virginia University product, who reminded us at times of a raw Randy Moss, is a complete turd. But since he performs well between the lines, the Bengals will continue to tolerate his missteps -- until he's behind bars.
The Bengals have about 80 players on their off-season roster.
They have had 2 players get into trouble since Marvin has become the coach.
But now they`re such a criminal organization, that they are changing the stadiums
name, and their uniforms to jumpsuits ?

That`s not over-sensationalizing the situation is it ?

I mean let`s over look the Madieu Williams`, Willie Anderson`s, Rudi Johnson`s, David Pollack`s
and Carson Palmer`s of the team. Let`s over look 70 something other players, and focus on
a 3rd round pick, and a 5th round pick (who has never played a down, even in a pre-season game
for the Bengals) as the morality of the team, coaching staff and front office.

I swear, I hate stupid over-sensational motherfuckers...
i will let you know when it gets to that point. henrys scandels are nothing to what goes on in the nfl, the only horrible thing he did was the gun charge, so chris henry is single handidly making the team look bad? chad being a fucking crybaby at halftime of a game we were WINNING then calling a press conference of something he claims never happened, justin smith getting a DUI with his wife at home and a skrippa in the front seat? corey dillon beating his wife? stanley wilson being coked up passed out and missing the superbowl? 15 years of LOSING? all of that is water under the bridge, but speeding, weed and a .092 alcohol level is just too much?
What would he have to do for you to say the Bengals should cut ties with him?

How many chances does the guy get?

Do you have ANY doubt that something else is going to happen with this guy?

Deal drugs to school kids, rape (anyone), kill (anyone) or molest kids.
How many chances does the guy get?
He got a $250 fine and rehab in his first incident.
He is still waiting to find out what the punishment
is going to be for whatever, if anything, he is found
guilty of in the 2nd incident, and he`ll probably get next
to nothing for these 2 MISDEMEANORS he was charged with
Saturday.

Let`s not equate how many times he`s been arrested
to mean the crimes are worse than they really are.

Yeah... anyone can change. Believe me... I should know.

My cousin is a Cop and lives in the same subdivivion as Henry. In fact about a month ago we drove by his house to see if he was out, he wasn't. Anyways my cousin said that he was following him through the subdision one night after he had just gotten off of work and that Henry ran every stop sign and it was evident that he was smoking weed. You have to remember that he was in his cruiser and Henry still did this. Luckily for Henry my cousin was out of his jurisdiction. It is clear that Henry just doesn't give a fuck.
Just heard that Chris Henry was arrested for speeding and then failing a breathalizer test. He was going 82 in a 65 MPH zone when stopped by cops. He then failed a sobriety test. Has to appear in court on June 9th. Heard it about 30 minutes ago on Sirius Satellite Radio.
Sirius Radio must now be clairvoyant. Jersey posted this at 1:08am. And Sirius reported nearly a half hour earlier. As reported by the Enquirer, Henry was not pulled over until 1:18am and did not submit to the breathalizer test until 2:06am. I was on the forum that night, when Jersey posted so I do know the time stamps are correct. Just as he appeared to be putting some of his legal problems behind him, Chris Henry has another one.

The second-year Bengals wide receiver was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.

Henry was stopped at 1:18 a.m. Saturday by an Ohio Highway Patrol Trooper Michael Shimko. Henry was traveling 82 mph in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 275 North, according to the police report.

After pulling Henry over in Union Township, Clermont County, the officer said he smelled the odor of alcohol about Henry and his vehicle and administered field sobriety tests. At that time, the officer determined Henry was under the influence of alcohol and placed him under arrest.

Henry was taken to the Milford Police Department, where, at 2:06 a.m., he voluntarily submitted to a breath test. He measured .092 in blood-alcohol content. The legal limit in Ohio is .08.

According to this chart, and a doctor posting on another forum, it would take more than 2 or 3 beers for him to blow a .092.

Here's another web site that states about the same thing, but also makes note that all states legal limit is now .08

Damn it! There goes my entire conspiracy theory I was working on!!!!! Oh wait, I was just listening to WLW 700 with Bouncing Billy and a guy called in and said that he was sitting next to Dumbass (aka CH) at a fine local establishment that evening - Dejavu - and our boy was there for at least 2 hours that evening before leaving somewhere in the 12:30 to 1:00 am range. Which puts him around/near the "scene of the crime" at said 1:18am. Well, not that I would know personally B) , but said establishment does not serve alchohol! So either Henry was totally fucked up when he arrived or pounded several adult cocktails in the short time between leaving Dejavu and the police encounter.

The conspiracy theory lives on!

Edit - for those not familiar with Deja Vu. NOT WORK SAFE!!!!!!!
perhaps henry has another vehicle, perhaps a typo as you mentioned, i know he HAS a black escalade and a 2 seater benz as well, i dont think the suped up '84 whatever would have changed the circumstances of my intent, but i get your point, that portion of my tale is targeted more towards the bad luck/wrong place wrong time comments. 3 of the 4 issues henry has had, are barely noteworthy. i call the highway patrol on people almost monthly driving fucked up late at night, and in having a family it disturbs me that people are ignorant enough to make that choice. but a .092 as many have mentioned isnt much, and the speeding wasnt dangerously excessive like 90-100mph, and there is no mention of wreckless driving, i dont think anyone can deny racial profiling in law enforcement. if he had chewed a piece of gum after the 2-3 beers would any of this even come up?

the entire point of me even posting in this thread is that just like the sexual misconduct thing, people want to NOW throw him under the bus, they didnt care about the weed, they thoguht he fucked up but needed to make better decisions on the gun thing, but NOW want to cut him, like all the rest was ok, but THIS is now too much? none of this has hurt the team or himself or anyone else, his care insurance is going to be $1,000/month, lawyer fees about $75,000, and hopefully make some new friends in the end. but the guy didnt really do much wrong here...legally yes, morally and fatally, no..
ok, first off i am a law enforcement officer. so the idea of racial profiling is BS. Come do a ride along and ill show you. here is an example. park your car on the interstate at night. now tell me if you can tell what race a driver is as they drive by you at 80 mph in the dark. YOU CANT. they could be green aliens from mars, and you wouldnt see. I said all that to say this. He has been arrested in 3 different states in 6 months. THis is sad. he is a drain on the team. he has skill but he is our #3 receiver. we have 2 guys alot better than him in CJ and TJ. we have perry and chatman wjo can take his spot. I am not worried about this hurting the offense. he has to go. he is a negative to the team
